shaun hon that does sound a tad abysmal. have you always lived in ireland? I have to say the budgets and assistance available here mean that either the very very very poor or the amazingly rich get help but the middle classes that work as hard as we can for a living or geninely are unable to do so due to illness or disability are left to struggle on. I have looked at going to university this last couple of weeks and the benefits that would be available, as a 31 yr old single woman i wouldn't have a hope of getting a bursary, only a student loan. i hate england with a passion!!! grrr. :D

I know its a long shot, but would Open Uni be easier, I know it takes longer, but at least you can study around work.

Morning all - another week is upon us. Scratchcards done but only 10p again.

Banking checked, and an extra £10 paid to the Egg loan.....not much, but it is all going in the right direction.

Nothing else to report.......won't manage an NSD today as we need bread :o, but I will get enough for the week to hopefully enable me to have an NSD or two as the week goes by.

    Have a good one x

Thanks lucielle - the outstanding balance is now £4203.70.......getting there. It will be nice to see it below £4000 soon - when it has a 2 or a 3 as the first number, it seems like a "small" amount of debt

G'day - Hi Taka - yes - thats the Market you went to. It has just reopened for the 'Dry' so the fireworks were last week, Fabulous. I had a lovely Mothers Day and had a Mexican wrap and watched the sun go down, it is still very hot but the humidity is dropping - phew.

Great going with your Egg Hypno - not long now - what a sense of achievement you must feel as each debt is paid off. We are now debt free and STILL remind ourselves with glee every single day of how fab it feels.

Good luck and keep going - it s FAB

Glad you had a nice day, llamahead! And it is good to know that you still get that lovely feeling of being debt free every day!

I can't wait until I am able to say the same thing :D

:hello: Hello! Back again! And thanking all the peeps who posted and emailed ..... I'm not starting another diary (yet!) as I'm not quite focussing on dfw like I was - energy is split between dfw and decluttering right now. And I'd like to have a social life again, that would be nice.
