Well, after several weeks, or is it months, of too many things getting in the way, we are back focusing on the download site. It has been ticking over while we have been busy getting on with "real life" but we want to up our game a bit to bring some more money in......
So, back to the Thursday meetings it is......and we are agreed that mutual kicking of backsides is required and permitted
Tomorrow is 1st month which means two loans are paid.....which in turn means that my debt goes down, signature can be amended and squares can be coloured in :j
And in other news, I got 81p interest on an account I only opened to get a referral bonusEvery little helps :T

Good old Alliance and Leicester. Though I am closing it now. I loved their online banking for it's simplicity but I need to crack on with that overdraft. My life has been put on hold for too long and I didn't get the permanent job with the NHS Trust I'm working in.
So now a new Walshy game plan:
I am using whatever weeks I have left of working there to make a concerted effort to bring down my credit card by £500. In seven weeks that should be doable. Bye bye social life but I don't care.
I am DEFINITELY going to be going to uni full time in September. I was going to do my professional course over two years part time, but seeing as I'm not going to be in a permanent job going into the summer and seeing as it probably won't be a year before I find something at my level, I'm going to do it...
Now the tricky part, to pay for the stuff! This is where I'm going to need a temporary diary I think! People reading about me... Wow... :rotfl:
I'm going to get my housemate to get me a job doing what he does. Inventory clerking checking in and checking out people in letting agreements. That way it's flexible and well paid for what it is! :jThis will bring in much needed funds and allow the flexibility of working less but for the same/more money. If push comes to shove, Barclays said they'll loan me the money for course fees and things
Come next July, I graduate and all is well in the world until I try and find another job but that's another challenge in another lifetime! :T
Does that sound crazy!? Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!
Now it's all about finding a deposit for a house!
How do you amass £70k in a year?! :eek:0 -
Ooooh and never get a cold when supposed Swine flu is around...
I've not been offered any biscuits or cake today from birthday people becasue they won't go near my office from the sneezing... Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

When you're better and they're sneezing, go round ringing a bell and shouting "Bring out ye dead...""Follow the money!" - Deepthroat (AKA William Mark Felt Sr - Associate Director of the FBI)
"We were born and raised in a summer haze." Adele 'Someone like you.'
"Blowing your mind, 'cause you know what you'll find, when you're looking for things in the sky." OMD 'Julia's Song'0 -

That is a VERY good idea ZTD!!! :T
I like your thinking... For there shall be trouble afoot once I start wanting to get out of there! :rotfl::beer: Debt Free since July 2011 and it feels good!

Sorry that you are not getting a permanent position, walshy - but if you can work the uni plans into it, then it is a case of every cloud and their silver linings and all that stuff. And as for knocking the £500 on the head, that is DEFINITELY achievable with a little MSE/DFW focus!
so.......where's this new diary, then?Successful women can still have their feet on the ground. They just wear better shoes. (Maud Van de Venne)Life begins at the end of your comfort zone (Neale Donald Walsch)0
