Sorry to hear about BFUP's problem with the kids.
My MIL had something like this a few years ago. Local rough kids running through her garden and over the back wall to the extent the (8ft) wass came down, they even rode motorbikes through her garden after that, it was awful. all fine now but took ages to sort out. Hope yu can all nip it in the bud before it causes any more distress.

Funnily enough I was thiking about ORF the other day, whatever was the outcome of all that (off to read rest of thread now in case you say any more about ORF!!!)
Was that 2 years ago ? I seem to remember reading about it on my laptop in bed in which case I was probably pregnant and dying with morning sickness ......

Lots of hugs for holly and emily and your families.

rach - enjoy the ultrasound...:p I drank 22 glasses of water for my last one before they decided they could see properly  I was so full I thought that if I drank anymore it would come out of my mouth as there was nowhere else for it to go!

My new table was delivered this evening (12 hours early!) and its lovely.

Family are hassling me... I've had to ask them not to use my work email/phone numbers (not that I'm paranoid or anything ) and they don't seem to have quite got their heads round the fact that I want to be left along. Phone has just rung AGAIN...

... better get back to my exciting spreadsheet. I can see I'm going to have a fantastic weekend ahead trying to make a dent in the 840-odd items that need to be reviewed and the records updated with evidence attached...

Part of the Furniture 1,000 Posts Photogenic I've been Money Tipped!
I've submitted the first question and then emailed my tutor saying :
I have tried to do this assignment but it just hasn't been very successful at all. With being ill multiple times over the duration of this block I've been completely unable to concentrate and make sense of stuff as you will probably be able to tell. I have submitted what I have managed to do these past couple of days but it is only Question 1. I figured better to submit something rather than nothing. I'm aware I will have lost the majority of the marks but my flu-filled brain just can't cope with it anymore.Thank you for reading this.
I've now printed off the last assignment/project question booklet for this course, all 20 pages of it  So its ready to deal with on Monday when I start it. I don't think I can face any more work this week, especially as its more alphabet spaghetti and looking back over all my work :rotfl:

Off to try and unwind a bit then going to bed. Last time in this bed in theory as my new one arrives tomorrow between 8 and 1 but the fella said he'll make it after 9.30 so I can get DD to school ;):j:j My first completely brand new to me bed in about 15 years I think :rotfl::rotfl: Next BIG purchase is a new bigger desk, followed by a new sofa/chairs, coffee table, bedroom "suite" for my room (think chest of drawers and maybe even a proper wardrobe :rotfl: ), and then dining table/chairs. Its going to take a long time to do it but I will get there eventually, taking babysteps all the time. ;) Then there will be no more "me and ex" stuff in the house in theory. :D Right off I go

Jill well done on your walking. Don’t overdo it tho, or you will get fed up with it and give up. Hope you enjoyed your time with your friends
rose - Dont worry I wont overdo it, chance would be a fine thing!
Walking really helpde me shift the weight years ago when I go to my Ww goal weight.

BIG NEWS - remember my 7lb gain at WW this week ? Well I lost 3.5 lbs of it this week :j so all the walking etc had paid off.
I am going to sign up for a Race For Life in the summer, and run it.
Done 8 days of No Alcohol.
Going to give up bread until my birthday and see how that goes.
Going to each night set out lunch stuff for me and morning snack as this is my downfall.
Have weighed out 3 points worth of pasta all ready for tomorrow!

And tomorrow I have a personal training thingy booked at the gym, but I think some of it might be telling me my BMI and body fat percentge and other depressing things. Yes I know its not good to get hung up on these things, but then again you need something to measure how far you've come.

As for time with friends, well I think I sat down for about 2 seconds between:
    - getting drinks, biscuits, cake (was friends birthday yesterday, we landed up with 2 cakes and I ate NONE :p)
    - sorting out fights over toys
    - rescuing LO from danger in the garden
    - monitoring that the zip closed on the trampoline
    - stopping random children from going upstairs
    - wiping bottoms/noses, fetching clean pants for the one that pooed themselves, - sweeping up chocolate cake from the trampoline (!!!!!! why do people not watch their own children and stop them doing stuff like this, I mean who lets their child take cake on a trampoline ??)
    - feching toys from the road where the kids kept lobbing them over the wall
    - picking up the bits of terracotta pot that they managed to smash
So whilst yes it was lovely to see them all it was not the most relaxing day!!! We do a rota between 7 of us and that means you only have to be the host every 7 weeks. That one week is h3ll but the other 6 are great when you pitch up, get drinks laid on, and make a mess in someone else's house.

I'm in two minds about having my friend round tomorrow. Have had an awful headache this evening and been very tearful. I'd really like to have a day on my own tomorrow as the weekend is incredibly busy. I'll see how I feel in the morning. Really need to do the bathroom list before she comes and cook the mediterranean lemony chicken which is sooo delicious and easy to cook. We are going to have that for lunch with bread and salad and smoothies. And I'm going to cook enough chicken for lunch on Sat when we are going to the British Museum and enough to take to the BBQ on Sunday. If I can manage to get up in time to do all that, and feel up to doing it and seeing her then she can come. She's coming to the Museum so I'll see her Sat anyway!
rose - sorry you are having a bad day today. Maybe you are tired having done such a lot this week, and poss still a bit emotional over the whole money relief thing ?
If you are seeing your friend on Sat anyway why dont you cancel tomorrow and have a relaxing day to yourself - bath, coffee, telly, walk, nothing taxing.
Or, could you say "the place is a mess, I need to get out", and meet her somewhere for a coffee instead ? That way you can stay for as long as you want and leave when you are wanting to rather than waiting for a guest to go. Does that make sense ? I am not very good at having people over and its cos I cant control when the socialising ends. I hate thinking "ok you can go now, I am ready to stop talking" and just wishing they would go. Does that sound terrible ? I dont think I ever reaslied before that thats why I dont especially like being the host.
Also, whts the recipe for your lemon chicken ? Id be interested to try it with quorn :)
