I'm afraid I've done very little flying today. This morning DH towed me in the car to the garage, which is no mean feat as the garage is about 12 miles away, through Guildford. Then we went to the shop and then the market/chemist/library.
Then I quickly straightened up the LR and my sister came. We had a nice time, but all the stress from the towing caught up with me and I've felt rotten all evening, so not acheived much.

I've caught up on the thread tho.

Hugs Pigpen you are having a tough time at the moment, wish I could help

Rach I’ve just had tests for PCOS as a friend thought my symptoms were very similar to hers. Mine have come back negative but here is a useful website about it.I can email you the questionnaire that my friend filled in when she was diagnosed. It’s got a list of all the symptoms. There are about 50 different symptoms and I’ve got quite a lot of them so was surprised the test was negative. Hey-ho, never mind!

Boddy, hope your bus problem gets solved. It’s a terribly long day for you

Abbie, hugs for you. You say you are tired for no particular reason, could it be because you are pregnant and have morning sickness? Take it easy while your body is busy growing that baby!

Hugs Pollybear, hope your DD’s got there safely

Emily, hugs for you. Sounds like DH is being well looked after, but it must be a worry for you. How long is in the bigger hospital for? Hope they can sort things out for him. Glad you’ve done the decorating, nice to have it all how you want

Hugs Holly, hope you feel less tired soon. So sorry to hear about your sister and her partner losing the baby, that’s such sad news

Jill well done on your walking. Don’t overdo it tho, or you will get fed up with it and give up. Hope you enjoyed your time with your friends

Don’t worry Grateful, you can only do what you can do. Well done for going to work

Yay, Soappie going under cover again! Brill! Keep us posted. But not fun for your neighbour, hope she’s not too stressed. Glad the school are taking it seriously

Thanks Greenbee for the life advice, it’s really good!

Hope you manage to get the work done Nikki

I'm in two minds about having my friend round tomorrow. Have had an awful headache this evening and been very tearful. I'd really like to have a day on my own tomorrow as the weekend is incredibly busy. I'll see how I feel in the morning. Really need to do the bathroom list before she comes and cook the mediterranean lemony chicken which is sooo delicious and easy to cook. We are going to have that for lunch with bread and salad and smoothies. And I'm going to cook enough chicken for lunch on Sat when we are going to the British Museum and enough to take to the BBQ on Sunday. If I can manage to get up in time to do all that, and feel up to doing it and seeing her then she can come. She's coming to the Museum so I'll see her Sat anyway!

Night night all, sweet dreams xx

rose - oddly enough one of the tests my dr is running is PCOS. I've had it before and it came back neg too. My doc here is really excellent though and said the evidence now says that the hormone tests are not conclusive and the best way to find out if you have it is an ultrasound. She's referred me for one as well as the blood tests. I'd be going back to your doc and asking for one too.

Lovely curry out with DH, turned out to be banquet night so we rather stuffed ourselves (extra side dishes etc). Ready for sleep now!

Hugs Nicki. Can you wait with it until the morning? When you might have a better idea? If not then do as you say - rather than give up totally, send in what you done...
I agree with soappie. Write up what you have done and submit it if you really feel there is no point in trying to do any more. AFAIK submitting something is better than nothing. Then take a deep breath, forget about it and concentrate on the next piece of work.

Thanks Rach, I think I will make an appointment to find out if they can do anything else

Emily, hope you are not lonely at home without DH. At least you can have a rest xx

Thanks for that post....have to say (and it's taken me a long time) I am NO LONger one of those people who 'saves things for best' but it took me a while
I got rid of my 'cheap' cutlery set and put my best set (which was a wedding gift from family at wedding no.1) in to daily use..
    among other things..

Anyway prep for Friday errand done
PC desk cleared (not cleaned but hey)
Ironing ironed (no really Valli?) lol
and I know I've done more but DS has been playing on his shoot'em up online game and I have forgotten
    will update list tomorrow.
Oh I have taken 4 cushions to the recycling - not sure if they want them but didn't say not on the skippy thing - being the poor relation I get doantions and my mum has new cushions ans covers and the colour of her old ones fit with my scheme (as my accent colour is terracotta - my sofa is STONE!! Fabric!! ) so my manky Wilko cushions and pads have now gone.

    and
I have paid off a credit card as I am paying 56 times more interest on it (well more but I ignored the decimal point) on that as I am getting on my savings - the money was in an account getting 0.25% and I was paying 14.9% interest on the CC.
It's a no brainer really but I still had to take a deep breath. But my credit rating is good so in an emergency funds are available...
