    Morning all

JillD - hope you're feeling better this morning - I'm glad tea times are going well and I liked the joke!

Another really misty start to the day again but I'm going to be optimistic about it lifting and put the washing I did last night out on the line.

I have a v. sore (as in feeling bruised) knee where I banged it yesterday so I'm still limping a little

My OU course starts today (i.e. opens online) so I shall sneakily look at that at work today. I'm off tomorrow.

I shall fly when I get home this evening.

    Have a lovely day people

    Morning gang,

Have quickly whizzed through the thread.:o Jill D love the joke :rotfl:Hope everyone else is OK.

I have to go to work this morning AND I really must do paperwork when I get home. If I'm found on here please someone give me a poke and tell me to get on with it NOW!!! Thank you:D

I had a phone call from ex hubby last night. DS1 who lives with ex hubby has been cleaning out my Escort. You know the one that's falling to pieces but still starts first time everytime. (The car that is broken, broken is Mr Tag's Volvo by the way)

Anyway, apparently he's thoroughly enjoying cleaning it and tinkering with it. So I thought that in view of the fact that he has missed out on a motorbike for his 16th. (DD1 had one. but that's another very long story:rolleyes:) That if I give him my Escort and he does it up. Then he can either use it to learn to drive when he's 17 in August. Or, if the insurance is horrendous, then he can sell it and put the money towards a bike or car.

    What do you lot reckon?

Right off to get ready for work. Catch you all later. TTFN xxx

Sounds a nice idea TAG, but if you've had the car for more than a year and it's more than 10 years old, could you make use of the £2000.00 deal that was mentioned in the budget yesterday?

I know but I picked up a Cavalier off of a mate last weekend that's over 10 years old for £150. They did me a huge favor because it was going to be sold for £400. But because Mr Tag's Volvo died last Friday and my Escort has no MOT, it was a cheaper option to have the Cavalier, which is Mot'd and be back on the road straight away than to faf around with the Escort.

So do you have to own the cars for over a year then to qualify for this £2000.00 deal? I haven't had a chance to really look into it yet TBH.

    oh yes,

Jill great success with evening then! glad to hear it! keep up the good work but you might need some rest now and then!
    liked the joke btw ;)

soappie sounds like a big plan B there. with several projects involved? i would take a sheet of paper for each project and do a brainstorming, anything you can think of related to that certain one.
then determine timelines, maybe budget?, people you need to talk to, things you'll need, - them compare them all to each other or see if you can combine them somehow?!
good luck and i can't wait to find out what it will be :D

kids will be at nursery later :j:D - so i'll have 6 hours all to myself :T
some i'll spend on cleaning i guess
