Well, 'tis definite. No renewal after this 20 days (which means my last day, taking into account I'm off on Friday and the bank holiday will be, I think, 8th May). Hey ho - just over two years in one place on a contract basis is not bad. I need to concentrate big time on Plan B. So lots of vibes please ladies, either a peach of a contract turns up which is on my doorstep or I make Plan B a success...Off to fly

Oh, I forgot to say earlier, I scrubbed the walls around the cooker where there is lots of splatter.
Sexymouse, thanks so much for the link about the mildew, the sheet is now sweet smelling and normal again! Thanks! It's so great!"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."

Greenbee - you OK? How did your meeting go yesterday?
It didn't go well... I'm not good company at the moment - but my running is going well  as it's one of the best ways of dealing with the negative energy. Today was the first day since I started work here that I didn't want to go in
Had a meeting with my finance manager today who is going to escalate the issues to my board sponsor and my other main stakeholder. I have a feeling that if I get what I want I won't make many friends... and if I don't, there won't be much point in continuing. Unfortuately, unless I make an internal move or get made redundant, I'm on 3 months notice. But because I'm on my own, I really need to get planning. I've told my family that I'm out of circulation for the next month (i.e. until our reorg is sorted or I get a new job), as I really can't deal with them all at the moment... this isn't something they can understand as none of them have ever worked in this kind of environment or been in a position where redundancy is a possibility.
Anyway... it's a great excuse to do no flying at all (I did iron a skirt yesterday) and drink lots of red wine
Although I still have to get up in the morning to go for a swim.
soappie - I bet you sort out plan b and then a fantastic contract comes along at the same time... but work out what you REALLY want to do and go for it!
lola - (((hugs))). Hope you can sort something out
toots - don't overdo things... you've got a lot on (although I can see that ebaying will at least mean you have less to put back when the work is finished)
rosepink - that's great news. Your inlaws are obviously very generous and caring. Try to think of something lovely (that doesn't cost anything) that you and DH could do for them - maybe you could do some cleaning/decorating or cook them a lovely meal, or take them to the airport and collect them when they go on holiday, housesit for them etc. Even just sending them a lovely card telling them how much you appreciate what they have done for you will mean a lot to them.
Mudbath - dogs love eating horse poo. Apparently they don't digest their food very efficiently so it's delicious if fresh... and it's better then cat poo
kaz - I'm so glad you stopped (rather than thinking the other car was full of idiots) and found out about the problem. This happened to my mother years ago... when my dad and one of his friends had changed the wheel - she's never trusted him to change it again, she calls the garage! You're very lucky.
rach - you never know... it may not have been a career limiting move... it might have cleared the air.
I know there are lots more of you who need hugs, love and flylady vibes, so I'm sending them all through to you and trying to stop the negative stuff from sneaking in!0 -
im falling a bit behind with my list this week.

im falling a bit behind with my list this week.
Don't worry... I haven't done anything
Seriously - just keep trying for level one for a bit. When you've managed to do that consistently for a few weeks, build up gradually to level 2 and so one. Don't try to do everything unless a. your house is pretty much spotless already b. you have nothing else to do all day except cleaning or c. you've been flying for months and therefore have put in lots of effort already and are just dealing with a couple of weeks mess/dirt at most.0 -
Greenbee, love and hugs and stuff. At least you've got three months to sort something out. I totally understand the family thing! And the paradox of the plum contract turning up at the same time as Plan B gets off the ground.
I just have one tiny problem --- Plan B is so vast, I don't know where to start!
Have done dinner (cauliflower cheese with veg 'n stuff) AND washed up afterwardsI am the leading lady in the movie of my life

thanks greenbee thats helpful, have you been flying for long? i have only been doing it a couple of weeks. i think i will just aim for level one and two for a while0

Hi everyone!
Kazwookie - Thank goodness you saw the people behind & took notice of them, how scary.
Mudbath - Hows your Dad doing today? Still sending eye fixing vibes..
LL - hope you're feeling better now..
Lola321 - hugs to you..hope something else turns up very quickly..
Hugs to everyone cos I'm sure you all need them
On to flying I guess! I was a bit later home than normal today what with one thing & another but have done some...whats been deleted has been done!
Thursday - childrens rooms and spare room
Level One
vacuum the floor
Level Two
Strip the bedding get it washed and remake the bed
dust and deweb!
Binbag dance (doesn't have to be in one room it can be from all over the house!)
Level Three
Off to play on Farm Town for a bit now then catch up with The Apprentice that I've recorded..catch you all later.. x0 -
Don't worry Broke i'm still on yesterday's list. Just keep plodding away at it. Just do what you can. Remember babysteps. The rooms all come around again next week so if you do level one this week, when it comes around again it will be easier.
Hugs Greenbee, I hope things work out for you"Snowflakes are one of nature's most fragile things, but just look what they can do when they stick together."
