I feel REALLY bad for moaning about FIL earlier. He phoned up and offered to pay off our overdraft! £300! And as if that wasn't enough MIL phoned up a few minutes later to ask how much debt we are (she was really shocked) and said she would give us £5000! :A

FFPrincess, how scary to see the wheel rolling off down the motorway! And grr to your OH, well done you for doing what you could while feeling poorly. He's a silly man, just ignore his silly comment.

I know, DH's parents are lovely. DH was really choked when he was talking to them, I've never heard him like that. I spoke to them first as I answered the phone but I told him what they were going to do and he went on th phone to thank them and his voice went all funny! I was a bit like that too, it's such a huge amount of money to give us and I felt really moved and a bit weepy. I've been so worried about money and especially DH's insurance, and not having a clue how we would pay for it, and this is really wonderful.

Thanks valli, ladybird & Flower x feel a bit stoopid now, AF is due obviously and I have a tendency to fly off the handle lol think yourselves lucky you don't live with me :rotfl:

Ha, you should live in my house at the moment... I'm like a woman possessed (must admit to actually feeling sorry for my lot when I'm like this, they have about 1 1/2 weeks of it...)

Kaz, how awful and scary and thank god for good fortunes all at the same time - you must be in bits

Rosepink - They would not have given it if they didn't want to as you hadn't asked for it, so do what you have done, accept graciously and then use wisely - which it sounds like you will do - it's a huge relief when something like this happens, go enjoy the feeling while you can...:j

Soappie - I think we could all do with reminders sometimes of what good points we have - so easy to be negative about ourselves, but you have many excellent qualities that will be more than useful for any kind of plan B you have, so go for it girl, we'll all be behind you with any help we can muster... :T

List is going down - no way will I get the study done this side of Christmas as everything has ended up in there at the moment, but the rest of the house is looking good...;)

Sorry soappie...i've been so far up my own backside the last few days I haven't been reading the thread properly. If anyone can turn the situation into a positive situation then you will...I have total faith in you. Plan b will be a corker!! Hugs to you anyway!

Kaz - that's scary! Glad you're ok!

Tootles - hope you've had an ok treatment. Thinking of you and poppy tried to send licks to you but I censored them because she's been eating horse poop again.....it must be some sort of spotty dog delicacy!

LL - hope you're feeling less sick, gentle hugs to you.

:jAmazingly, i've finished all lists this week. Not sure how i've managed that. :j

You know once in a while your children totally amaze you! I told my two that grandpa might not be able to see very well now. They were very upset but have come up with plans to cheer him up. My daughter is going to help him walk the dog twice a week, my son is going to read his favourite book to him (not sure Toilet of Doom is on my dad's reading list!!!). They also want to play the piano for him and bake for him. I'm very proud of them both (until the next time they drive me mad!! Little :A).

Hugs to you all - middle of the week it's nearly the weekend! xx

But ella, you've done more than if you weren't flying so you're doing well! It happens....slowly (very slowly in my case!).

I'm going to put a washing load on!
