    Good morning!

The kids do their own bedrooms, which aren't looking too bad at the moment. I've just put their bedding in the wash though & have three other loads to peg out. It looks a bit dull though, hope it brightens up soon!

I know but I picked up a Cavalier off of a mate last weekend that's over 10 years old for £150. They did me a huge favor because it was going to be sold for £400. But because Mr Tag's Volvo died last Friday and my Escort has no MOT, it was a cheaper option to have the Cavalier, which is Mot'd and be back on the road straight away than to faf around with the Escort.

So do you have to own the cars for over a year then to qualify for this £2000.00 deal? I haven't had a chance to really look into it yet TBH.

Yes, you have to have owned the old car for a year - and you have to be buying a new car (not second-hand).

(As someone who would never buy a brand-new car - due to depreciation and plain old expense - I can't say I'm impressed by politicians who decided that those of us with six children and six-year-old cars should be paying massive amounts in road-tax, and then hand out money to people who are buying brand-new cars.)

    Bah.

    Hi all,

I havent caught up with the thread and have done minimal flying this week so far. Spent lots of time with mum and did the garden......which both look super.

I do still need to do about a million runs to the tip, but will get there in the end.

I have lots of other bits and pieces to do so have an extra list -
    • Sort Car Tax
    • Go to tip with garden waste
    • Buy more solar lights for garden path
    • Pick up new freezer
    • Pick up stones for rockery
    • Pressure wash path and decking
    • Take old whirly and broken bedside table to tip
    • Photo ebay stuff and list to sell
    • Clear capital one card tomorrow.
Im positive there are more things that i know i need to do, but I cant remember them at this precise moment in time.

ADVICE NEEDED: My neighbour is very 'difficult' shall we say, and she has a massive hedge that blocks most of the sunlight from my gardens (front and back). How can i get her to cut the hedge to a reasonable level?

Love and hugs to all in need, I havent caught up with the thread. Mum is going home today and then need to catch up with flying. Will try to read through tonight xxxxxxxxxxxx

Jo - not sure if you can - although ther has been cases going to court so might be worth checking with the council to see what the rules are.

Sorry pen I would but I'll be at work.

Jo I'd have a word with her first and if you get no joy contact your local council, I'm sure there's a dept that deals with hedge/tree disputes. If they're too high she will be told to cut them down....but be aware if the latter happens you may be living with a neighbour who hates you lol

    listy:
    S&S kitchen
    empty DW
    reload DW

    hoover through
    dry washing from yesterday (maiden)
    check bank
    make beds
    quick tidy living room

rubbish out it's ready just need the back door key to put it in the bin.

note to self: get teenie a new front door key, and tell him if he loses this one he'll not be getting in again EVER! :D
  • Yes Toots sorry Toots

Just off now to do bigbag dance, runs away ............
