    hello
Am catching up on the gossip, havent been on here since Friday.

Its a beautiful day here so I should be in the garden but I went for a run last night (first one one 2 1/2 years :eek:) and having walked to school and back twice today, and done an Asda shop, my legs wont hold me up any more. So before tea I am having a sit down - with my lunch:rolleyes: - had a teacake at Asda at 11am so wasnt hngry for lunch.

Shepherd's pie made earlier ready to be heated through. Hubs and I out at cinema tonight. We are eating at Wagamama too so late lunch is fine anyway. I have restarted my babysitting swap, we normally do a Weds ight so we can do Orange Weds 241 at cinema but friend couldnt do tomorrow.
Have done a wash and pegged it out, and done the Asda shop and put it away and thats about it for today. Did manage to hoover out the car yesterday, and did the children's rooms (even under beds and bedside tables etc) on Sunday. So a wee bit of flying done.

DH and I had a fab day on our day to ourselves on Saturday :T We had a nearly 2 hour drive up to the NEC which was HEAVEN - we could listen to music and actually chat. It was a brilliant brilliant day. We've realised that actually we do still like each other, I think we just don't like each other's parenting styles, so when we are doing the actual parenting its hard work. Anyway it was a lovely day :D and we bought our joint birthday present (both birthdays in May) so that was nice too :D

Hope everyone doing ok, have a big (((hug))) if you need one

Wise words Jill - sounds like you need to make a way to have time together. Easier said than done I know. I am running too - one of those couch to 5k in 8 week things, podcasts. I am on week 4 and have started to really enjoy it.

Sunnygirl - Sorry but I went for a run yesterday morning.

    Hugs for Phil

Emily - the logic behind the different rooms different days was people start the week keen so the kitchen was always spotless, but by Friday CBA, or even just catching up set in and the childrens rooms remained pits of despair.

Jo - I wont know re job till end of the month when they hear about the funding, but not sure I want to do that many hours.

In my HHC I did my dailies, and now I just need to fill the DW and clean the oven to have finished todays list. Also need to feed the children, dogs, cats fish, hens, etc.

Just catching up! Yesterday was pretty hard work, the kids were more intereted in catching up with all the gossip than actually doing any French!

I had a day off today, and managed to spend the afternoon on the allotment, in beautiful sunshine. I planted out all the carrots, spring onions and lettuces that I started in modules, so one bed pretty much full now.

I've been booked for two days' supply, so not much chance of doing a terrific amount of flying, nor keeping up with the thread I suspect, but the money will be very helpful - I'm not sure when they'll start paying me on the contract, hopefully this Friday, if not, I'm in trouble! (Not seriously, I'll borrow from OH...)

Hugs for everyone, I'll do what I can this week, and catch up later... special good wishes for mudbath's Dad.

    Washed more dishes
    Cleaned SC
    Fed Gemma
