so, back from nursery run - and ds was allowed to stay - very sensible teachers :D
went shopping straight away and bought way too much - but firstly i didn't write a shopping list and second it's dh's birthday today so a few things sneaked their way into my trolley

i did ask him what he wants for his birthday - nothing! - i gave him a choice of dinner - not fussed! - so i'll get him a little something and cook him one of his favourites

now i better get on with jobs or i won't be finished before he comes home.

    make breadcrumbs
    s/s kitchen
    prepare dinner
    s/s kitchen again
    tidy downstairs
    set table
    wrap presents
    dw
    wm

thanks everyone for your get well wishes - neck/glands are still very achy:confused:
but i did have a nice hour just now watching tv with breakfast in peace :T

Wow Pigpen how did you know I wanted the kitchen to be the next cleaning day..you are a psychic piggy :)

Oooh my new iron has arrived, wow talk about fancy - I love it!!! I'm going to put it to good use today :)

My ears are still playing me up after yesterdays debarcle of getting water in them and then not being able to hear :( I still can't hear, it doesn't help that I only have one good ear as it is..I can't hear in my left ear as it is normally but now my right ear sounds like everything is an echo or in a tunnel..lol So I shall keep taking the painkillers/ibuprofen and hope it clears up very soon. Oooh I just noticed I can hear the washing machine spinning - think they might be clearing a wee bit more!! Just can't talk on the phone at the moment, still that isn't a bad thing for me..lol

mummy2mygirls - Freya is a gorgeous name, and who cares if you don't do any flying, we sure don't. You enjoy your time cuddling and feeding little Freya :)
Hex - I think you might be a wee bit odd washing the dishes before putting them in the bin, but hey ho!!
gratefulforhelp - woohoo for getting the go ahead to get a woodburner, and yay for the chimney sweep.
Mudbath - hugs and healing vibes for your dad, and you too hon.
Soappie - hugs honey, sending vibes your way, lots of them :) You know what they say - as one door closes another one opens, maybe this will be a blessing in disquise :)
Newbies - don't believe Valli when she says she's the sane one, she's the same as us - completely bonkers!! Hugs Valli :):)
Rosepink - I read your post yesterday about wondering how Toots was and then about you looking behind your sofa - my thoughts then turned to why would Toots be behind your sofa!! I think I lost the plot a bit then...lol
Toots - how's it going honey? Huge hugs being sent your way. I don't know how you have so much energy, you are an inspiration to us all.
Gingernutbizkit congratulations on your first star, here's to many more.
Juliejim well done on completing all levels yesterday :)
nicki hope you feel better soon, migraines are just the pits :( I used to suffer from hormonal ones but thankfully only get them now and again which I can cope with now.

Whoever was talking about keeping a pad and pencil beside the computer and writing down the flyladies notes, thankyou!! It's a brilliant idea and one that is definately going to be used by me if you don't mind me pinching it from you
