Toots - when you are on tomorrow (coz I KNOW you aren't still on here;)) Can I have A STAR PLEASE? :T:T:T:j:j:j
I know a lot of flyladies and families are needing vibes at the moment, so tomorrow I'll be having a candle vigil sending positive vibes to everyone here and all of your loved ones. I'm planning for 15 minutes at 8pm tomorrow evening if anyone cares to join me.
Busy day at uni tomorrow, get the date for my french oral, and 5 lectures/ classes. But I'll try to catch up when possible!
Lots of love to everyone

Hi all,
I've been out all day today with my DD, so no more work done in the house, and I'm working tomorrow, so won't be able to do anything till tomorrow night - may also be more officy work too, but stuff to be done anyway and I can catch up Wednesday...
Not caught up on the thread, but have read the last page...
Greenbee - best of luck with your team, I'm sure you can prove that you are all more than needed and as Soappie said, outsourcing always costs more - basically they are doing what you do for the same cost + profit for them on top, how can that be cost effective?
Soappie - Is plan B all go then and why now? what is plan B then or is it still under wraps? (ignore me if I'm being nosey)
Hope everyone else is OK, Hugs and good healthy vibes to those who need them...:A
I have been to DD's college interview today which ended up in her not doing a btec course, but doing a university degree instead (foundation course which is for 2 years rather than 3) - we have to apply for the student loan for her and sort some other stuff out, but she has enrolled and been accepted and starts in September - she is so excited, and was bouncing off the walls when we left - the degree ends in her doing a fashion show of all her work with the other students at London Fashion Week and all other students who have done this have sold the work and received commissions for new work too, plus most ended up with jobs from it too...
I am just so pleased for her, she has worked so hard and is now on the road to achieving her goals - as my hubby would say, she is currently like a dog with two (insert appropriate word here) and doesn't know which tree to go sniff first... :rotfl::rotfl::rotfl:
Now, if only I can get DS to see what a little hard work and effort can accomplish... ***sigh***

Plan B basically involves providing lots of little services to lots of people (based from home) rather than one service to one big person (based in their office). I have something like 12.5 days consultancy left where I am at the moment. I've been getting fed up a lot recently thinking there's more to life than doing the same old, same old. Also, in this current economic climate, I'm not likely to get anything locally and would have to stay away in the week again. I've done that far too often in the past and don't want to do it again.
I can afford to take a cut in my fees but I can't afford not to have any fees coming in.
Right, bath, sandwiches then work. I must say motivation is not at all high this morning. But I'm a professional. I'll fly when I get home
Have a lovely day ladies and gents.I am the leading lady in the movie of my life

Righty-ho, I'm aiming for my first star today, which is why I'm not taking any extras :rotfl: I'm going to finish my coffee, put dinner in the slow cooker and I will then hopefully have time to clean the hob and units before work.
Hugs to those who need them (And who doesn't need a good hugging now and then?)

Morning all. I feel awful today. I've got a headache which won't go, black floating things infront of my eyes, sore throat, earache, a cold and I'm aching all over... I think my throat infection is coming back. Going to phone in sick this morning and see whether a child-free day with plenty of fluids and some sleep helps. The strongest painkillers I can take haven't and my eyes are starting to ache.
