    Needing to rant so apologies!!!

his @r$eship who 2 weeks ago promised to have the children is now saying he won't have them this evening.. so i am going to tell him he can ram his stinking washing up his derriere and pay to have it done at the laundertte or find some other muppet.. if he can't watch his children 2 evenings a week I can't do his washing..

unreasonable, @r$e.. if he had said 2 weeks ago he wouldn't have them instead of saying he would then I would have been able to find someone reliable that would have them while I've been off for 2 weeks.. now I have 7 hours notice to get someone to watch them..Well he can fluff off.... He can get lost when I get back from hospital with DS3 and I'll have my sister come put them to bed for me.. she isn't at work today.. that will mean he will spend less time with the children and not get his washing done so he is losing out on both counts! I am so pleased whichever slapper he has picked up at salsa on a Monday is more important than his own children!!

TBH.. I'd rather skip college tonight now than have him here with them.. It is only him that will miss out in the long run and I'll make sure of it if I have to!

Another bad thing about DS1 being away.. he would have had them had he been here!! Gggrrr.

Now to go gut the front room.. before 12noon.. I WILL have that room spotless...

Isn't it amazing how blind fury makes us work twice as hard?!

  • Morning all,

Have been a busy bee so far:
I've decluttered lounge as most of it was stuff to go away in DS's room,
I have put everything away in his room/set up his electronic stuff/etc...
and I have also done these...
Monday - Living pit, hallway, stairs!
    Level One
    [STRIKE]Declutter the floors![/STRIKE]
    Vacuum/mop floors & stairs!
    Level Two
[STRIKE]dust over all the electrical appliances... be careful though I don't want any accidents![/STRIKE]
Vacuum under the furniture you can safely move!
    Clean the sofas
    Level Three
De-clutter the inside of a cupboard or drawer!
Sort out coats and bags and shoes... there must be some that can be put away/chucked?
[strike]Dust mantle and polish any display cabinets or bookshelves etc [/strike]
    Extras
    Wipe and water the plants
    Clean out the pets
[STRIKE]Wipe the dusty paintwork[/STRIKE] Including the woodwork in the hall last night because of spilt tea...
Get a pile of filing done!
    (not done my filing yet...:o)

    Morning all!
Posting this at work while I have a quiet few minutes. It's such a shock to the system to be back after two weeks off, especially as the weather is so nice. Would rather be at home!

Im in,feeling really down at the moment as my brother and sister-in-law went home today,it always upsets me and takes a couple of days to shake off so may not post a lot but will be in all the same

Sorry you are feeling down & hope you feel better soon. Try to see it as a positive that you have a great family that you get on well with.

Jackie_w regarding dust on your TV stand, try wiping it with a damp cloth wet with very dilute fabric conditioner. I think that is a Kim & Aggie tip!

    here's my list:
I'll try & get on with it when I get home from work later this afternoon:
Monday - Living pit, hallway, stairs!!
    Level One
    Declutter the floors!
    Vacuum/mop floors & stairs!
    Level Two
dust over all the electrical appliances.. be careful though I don't want any accidents!

Dust mantle and polish any display cabinets or bookshelves etc
    Extras
    1. Wipe and water the plants
    2. HHI
    3. Wipe the dusty paintwork
    4. Get a pile of filing done!!
    Best wishes all,

Hugs Pigpen, I know what you mean about it making you work harder - and slam about a lot more too - I love the sound of banging doors (usually kitchen cupboard ones in our house) when I'm angry.
Have a cuppa while you do it though, you'll get thirsty as you rush around...:rotfl:

PS: I think you may need to rant more often, you seem to have been bottling it up lately so let go and get it out of your system - we're here to listen...

I'm joining in again this week, after last week went a bit !!!! upwards towards the end of the week when I had an eye test and dentist all on one day followed by lunch out with my brother and dinner out with my parents!
Yesterday I spent cleaning the grunge out from beneath the old cooker ready for the new one on tuesday. Apparently I can call after 9pm tonight to find out the 4 hour delivery slot, which narrows it down a bit.
Today I am quite glad it's the living room cos I have to make sure it's straight/clean for tomorrow as the gas switch is in there and I am sure they'll want to turn it off at some point. I only hope they don't mention the old gas fire in there which was disconnected and condemned! I am going to do my best to hide it behind a folding table and hope they don't want to test it or I will have to admit that it's dead and be embarrassed :o
Nothing crossed off my list yet. I will go off now if anyone fancies a HHC from 11am, and get a few things done to cross off!
