    Thanks all!

More good news - the windows are going in and are looking great. The living room will be finished tomorrow as will the bathroom. They'll start on the from bedroom and the landing. FiL has kindly offered to stay at flat so OH and I don't have to take leave.

Flat is full of dust and I keep moving the ironing pile from room to room to keep it clean. I should just get on with it and the it can go in wardrobe!

    Not much else going on.

    Hi All,

Day two of windows and living room, bedroom 1, landing and bathroom are all complete. The downstairs hall one is done but I'm going to get them to come and check as I'm not 100 happy about the little ledge they've added.

Only our bedroom and kitchen left although not sure they'll get the kitchen one done as the pane was damaged in transit so they are waiting for a new one.

I do have to say that I am really happy with the double glazing sashes. The fitters have done a fab job and we're going to slip them a few quid to say thank you. They have even really cleaned up after themselves properly. You can tell the difference in warmth as well!

Right better head to bed - am very tired and we are going to see nephew tomorrow followed by drinks with friends! What a week and it's only Tuesday.

Lemon tree - go for it is all I can say. I procrastinated for far too long!

Ugh - feel so tired and don't want to get up at all. I've missed my bathroom slot so will have run like a mad thing to get to work. Might Manage a NSD today although may pick up a couple of bits for baby. Will have lunch paid for at work.

I still haven't got anything sorted for Christmas - I have no idea what to get for OH and I have five birthdays next week that I haven't planned for. Won't have any time to get things sorted until the weekend. I think part of 'me' just doesn't want to play this year. Oh well- need to snap out of it.

Oh, I know how you feel - I was wondering on my way in to work today whether I would actually get as far as feeling "Christmassy" this year - after all, it is 8th December already,.....surely it should be starting to happen by now!!?!

Maybe we just need to get this one out of the way, for various reasons, and plough straight on into a new, positive, and very fulfilling new year xxx

Do you know what a relief it is to know I'm not alone! The three of us have had a horrendous year! I know I shouldn't but I am wishing this year away. While it has some lovely memories, I.e the wedding and some great achievements - new job and getting debt free, I really haven't had a happy year (getting teary on tube now). It's a year to say goodbye to.

Thank you too - to everyone on this forum- the support and friendship I have had has been 100% sustaining for me. I really could not have got through it without you guys.

Right - my plan is to smile, get on with it and welcome 2011 with champagne given as an engagement pressie and a 'come on' attitude. That and a really good break!

Talking rubbish now so will sign off as we're going to fight iver who gives nephew cuddles!

    Catch up soon.
