Hey urg, good plan with trying to pay more to your mortgage, this is something I wish I had thought of doing (still too much debt though).

Morning! Was woken up by a rogue alarm about an hour ago so despite being tired, I am awake.

Had a day off sick on Wednesday - seems there is a bug going around. But i am soooo very tired at the moment. Someone suggested that I might be amaemic. Will have to arrange an appt at the GP. I've also been looking at my health. The weight I'd lost earlier in the year has been creeping back on so I need to back to it.

Payday today - I have set up a Standing order for part of my mortgage overpayments - the other part will be paid as the month goes on. I have also paid £500 into my 'house' savings. This month is lower than planned as I haven't been very organised re Christmas so will be spending a bit on gifts.

Right, may as well get up. I might be able to get something sorted before I head off to work.

    Have a great day!

    Thanks Taxi,
Got up and cleans all the walls in the bathroom. They were starting to get mould spores so needed to get it done sooner rather than later. Hubby sorted the kitchen for me which was nice. Still got loads to do but am knackered and will be going in my shift shortly. Then off to a friend's party. Not sure I'm in the mood but probably will be once I get there.
My gran's quite unwell at the moment. It's quite hard for me to hear about. I will visit her tomorrow - she often feels better when she has company to take her mind off things.

Right better get ready to go. See you all soon.

Party was great - was nice to catch up with my friend. It was freezing as we came home.

DH and I stayed asleep til quite late this morning - i think we needed it. We then headed out for the day. We went to visit my gran who was doing better today and then I went and spent the afternoon with my dad and brother.

Moneywise i managed a NSD today and we have managed to get away with not shopping for this coming week. There's enough food in the cupboards and freezer to see us through til next week. Still not sorted anything for Christmas - bad URG! Must get a list together and pull out cards left over from last year.

Will aim to stick to the budget and take lunches to work this week.

    Waving to you all.

    Morning All!

Good news! I became an auntie on Friday. He is gorgeous And a very Welcome bit of happy news to end what has been a hard year. I'm sad that mum isn't here as she would have been so happy to be a grandma. Dad is delighted - can't stop smiling!

Other stuff is a big up and down - not sure I want say much more on here about that.

Money wise - I think I have confused myself with my spreadsheet so will need to review that today. Sealed pot has been counted and will be banked tomorrow. Haven't decided what to do with that. Got £33 refund for a course I signed up and didn't run. That will go towards to mortgage overpayment this month.

I have been thinking about New Year's resolutions. I may go back and review the ones I set recently.

Right will get up now - been awake for a while. I think I will load the wm and then do a yoga vid before doing some ironing, decluttering and tidying.

    Happy sunday to you all.
