Well done urg, noticed your totals had came down, I'm right under £11K too (see I think we are the same person, ha), although my OH hasn't proposed!

I've been researching scratchies too, every little helps. Nite x

Definitely get started with the scratchcards - I've withdrawn £50 since starting at the beginning of Jan - all lovely free money;) You can use one St Minver site - I use Littlewoods, and also can use Take a Break bingo as they're not related. I had my biggest win this weekend - £5 woo hoo, I'm easily pleased:rotfl:
Littlewoods was easy - deposited £10, scratched and won 10p, then withdrew the original £10, as long as you leave 10p in there it's fine. TAB bingo wanted a load of ID - scanned copies of bank details, etc, but then was easy to withdraw too.

    Go for it:D
I really need to sort out a new signature!

    Hello

Hi Milly - thanks for the advice. I finally managed it!!! Joined Littlewoods site. Went through Quidco and got £10 for that, I deposited £10 and played £6 to earn the cashback (need to spend 50% to get the £10 cashback ). I have won money and have £11 in my account and so will withdraw the money in a mo. So have taken all evening to get to grips with scratchies!

Will save joining another scratchie site til tomorrow I think. Need to join an non-Minerva site but not TAB as it seems that they have stopped giving away cash.

Swinstie - twins run in my family - I have twin brothers and I have a twin cousin (born at the same time as me in a different country) - do you reckon you can be my Scottish twin?:rotfl:

Going to go to some washing up and then bed methinks

    Have a lovely evening.

    See you all soon.

OMG I totally mucked up the scratchies! Deposited £10, played and won 10p, tried to withdraw money and ended up depositing another £10, called them up to ask for help and was told had to play bingo, not just scratchcards, help, what have I done wrong?!

Well no twins in my family so I will be your Scottish twin, no probs x

    HI Swinstie

    Have you sorted the scratchies?

I am really annoyed - my letter has still not been delivered!!!! I will have to resend it tomorrow if it has not been received. I can't believe that RM have taken over a week to deliver a Registered First Class letter - unless the comapany refuses to sign for it.

I'm off to do a couple of chores and find a camera to see if I can photograph a couple of things for ebay.

    Hi All

I have finally overcome my fear of EBay and listed 3 items. If I feel up to it I may list 3 more tomorrow. Every little helps!

My letter to the finance company still hasnt been delivered. I wonder if they just refuse to accept recorded delivery items! I will have to photocopy a whole new set with a covering note on Monday and send it using proof of postage rather than registered! Am not impressed I wanted this dealt with asap as I need to check my credit report(s) to see what they look like. There's no point until I can get this matter sorted. Grrr

On the plus side, I have:
    • had my hair cut
    • cleaned the kitchen (it desparately needed doing)
    • cleaned the bathroom
    • ironed a massive pile of washing
    • put a new load of washing on and left it drying on the airers
    • Vaccumed the hall and the stairs.
OH and I are going to the cinema tonight - it's been ages since we last went.

Well done on the ebay listings Urg.. as you say every little helps! I checked my paypal account today and its sitting at £52.56p after one batch of stuff selling so I'm pleased with that!

Thats really annoying about your letter still not being delivered, especially if you want to check your credit report and you know you need to sort this out first.

Hope you enjoyed the cinema, what did you go and see?

    Hi CWC

We went to see the XMen Film - OH likes action movies and I can cope with the action.

We've just got back after popcorn during the film and dinner at a Pakistani restaurant. The food was good but soooo oily. That's what I hate about eating curries at restaurants.

It's been a nice night. Am really tired now - I may head off to bed after a bit of surfing.

How's the revision going for the rest of the exams?

    Hi Swinstie

Thanks for asking - I've been pretty busy.

Exam went okay - I won't hear for some time about my overall marks and whether I pass. The Uni is pretty disorganised so I am not expecting anything any time soon.

So since the exams I have:
    • been tidying and decluttering the flat (Flylady is becoming my new fad!)
    • overcoming my fear of ebay - I listed 3 items on ebay :j(all have watchers on them)
    • joined a scratchie site
    • catching up with friends and family
    • working on mum's 60th birthday
I'm even managing to get in a bit of exercise with a new yoga class and walking.

It's been so nice to get stuff done and get on with my life.

How are you? - I need to catch up with everyone's diaries (and 'fess up to buying chocolate today!)

will try to update again soon

    urg x x
