    Hi Taxi

Yes, yesterday was lovely. It was nice just to kick back.

Today has been a good day too. I have decided to learn to cook. I should've learned from my mum who was awesome but never did. So I am learning from my gran and aunts. One or two recipies at a time. Today I made an old family favourite. I got it pretty spot on. A couple of tweaks and I am there!

I also managed another NSD - takes me to 5.

This week I need to get back on top of the wedding. Although I have been doing things, I need to take stock of where I am and write a plan for the next few weeks so that I know what needs to be done, when and by who.

I also need to do some more tidying around the flat. It needs a bit of TLC.

It's late and I need to get to bed.

    Here's hoping it's a good week.

    Hi Swinstie,

You're right - it' less than five weeks away. There is still lots to do but we will get there.

I had my aunt and gran over today to help me go through the list of things that I need to do. It was a bit hard (okay a lot hard) and I was more than a bit emotional. Mum should have been doing this with me and she had done so much but I really need help with the little things and I feel bad for asking for help.

OH and I are just chilling out tonight. Lots to do but I need a bit of time to lick my wounds.

    Waving to you all

Just thought I'd put in a small update - it's been ages.

As you can imagine my emotions are up and down but more often than not I am doing okay. It's just over 4 weeks til the wedding - I can't believe it has come up so quickly.

I got paid today but have no idea how much - this is so unlike me. I have been spending on the CC for big purchases and I will be transferring the spend to a 0% CC which will be paid off after the wedding. I know it's not ideal but I also knew that I would have to pay for some of the wedding things on credit as i did not have time to save. I know I have got the skills to pay it off. I know OH has also been using a 0% CC to pay for things so once we are back from our break, I will be re-working the spreadsheets and aiming for another DFD after the wedding.

I'm trying not to get too spending happy as part of the learning that I need to undertake being debt free is to spend and save realistically and without relying on credit. That will be my goal for the second half of 2010.

    Hope you are all okay.

    waving

Ooh - i forgot to add that I lost 2lbs at this week's WW weigh in. That takes me back to my 10% goal. I'ld like to lose a few more pounds before the wedding. I'm not going to be a skinny size 8 bride - but to be fair I never was going to be. I would have liked to be size 14 but I can still work on it.
