    Hi Everyone

Feeling a bit down recently. I think the running around with lots of goals really means I achieve nothing. I get home from work and am exhausted and just flake in front of the telly until I get my second wind at about 10:30.

Moneywise I have feel like i have lost my way. I have had 3 NSDs this month but never seem to achieve more. I have been spending on the CC on I don't know what. Friday is the start of my December month and I need to get back into control. I am going to post on here regularly to keep up my motivation and get back towards my DF date. My calculations put my DF date in March but I may be able to achieve it in February with a LOT of hard work and careful planning. But this really involves bringing in new money.

Weightwise - am on a plateau with a weight gain yesterday :(. I need to get moving and really start to think about what I am eating. My WW leader said something that spoke to me yesterday - its about the choices I make. I need to start making better choices for me.

Wedding plans also need to get moving - I've made small moves on a few things but I need to start making decisions and getting decisive.

My new job is great - there's just a lot to do and take in. Things will be better once I get to Christmas. I just hope I make it there.

I remember Hypno once saying that she say the moneysaving as a job. That's how I need to be - to see this as a job that needs things doing.

I feel better for getting this off my chest.

    Tonight's jobs will be:
    • clean bathroom
    • proofread document for work
    • send another document once I have checked it
    • eat dinner
    • deal with a small pile of paper
I better go - dinners ready.

    Hope you are all okay.

I agree with everything you say.
Please stop being hard on yourself..what is it that is causing you so much stress over the wedding?
When I did mine..I wrote a list of everything needed for a wedding ie venue, flowers, cakes, photographer, outfits etc...then I worked on one at a time.I found this the easiest way to do it.
Venue and vicar being the 1st two and then everything else can be arranged after that.
Do you have anyone to help you arrange it ?

    HI Taxi,

    Thanks for the advice.

I don't think I'm stressed - just overwhelmed. I don't think that it is the wedding so much as dealing with finishing off my old job. There's so much to do and I don't have a lot of time left.

As for the wedding - I have a list and have been working through it. OH and I from different cultures so we have quite a lot to do to be able to respect both of our backgrounds and what we want. We are having a two-day event! OH is responsible for organising his day and I have booked the venue, the photographer and another major thing for my day. I talked to a hair and make-up artist tonight and will try and go and see her next week. My cousin will do the flowers (she has done a floristry course :D).

We're going to see a priest in two weeks and hope to get that booked then and then we can move on and organise the civil ceremony.

I have lots of plans but it would be nice to close some of these things off.

It will get better once the Christmas break gets here. It's not long to go now;).

Enough about me - you have been doing really well on the bingo - I saw you on BB earlier this evening.

Better go and work on the list.

I'll be back in a bit.

Hope you are getting some wins.

    Hi

I've just got back from a weekend away with OH. It was wonderful to get away and not have to do everyday things. We even managed some moneysaving - dinner was paid using Tesco Clubcard Deals as was our trip to Cadbury World. I also managed to walk miles while I shopped - I took a pedometre and my steps were 24000 yesterday!

I've got a few things to do now that I am back so I will write a list and work my way through it. I also need to set a plan for the week as it is going to be a busy one. I am now already in December and willl set some December goals.

One good bit of news is my £20k in 1 year challenge. Here's my post from my declaration:

I'm in to quote my final payment for this challenge:

    Paying off: £1553
    New debt total: £3749
Total paid since December 09: £17030!!!!!

    :j:j:j:j:j:j:j:j

Roll on 2010 when I will be debt free, getting married, start saving, updating the flat and paying a bit towards the mortgage.

The real issue is my need to stick to a budget and leave the CC at home. In fact that will definately be one of the December goals.

Right better get on with the list - I'll come back and post my week's goals and my December goals later tonight.

    Thanks Hon,

This DFW lark is hard work isn't it!

How much have you got left (if you don't mind me asking)?

What are your plans when you are debt free?

    Waving
