I had exactly the same issue with Dixons. I bought a Navman PiN300 about six months ago at the knock down price of £50 because it didn't have the AC charger or sync lead. Anyway, I found the battery wouldn't hold a charge so I tried to get it changed and hit the same problem. Within the first 28 days, their policy is refund or replacement but there were none left. I said I didn't care what their policy was, it had a years guarantee and I wanted it fixed or replaced. They actually told me to wait 28 days then try under warranty! It took a week of grief to get sorted but eventually I managed to by-pass Dixons and Navman very helpfully replaced it under warranty. They're farily close to me so I collected and they even provided the missing charger and lead FOC!JPS wrote:OMG this is so annoying all Link stores near me have none left in stock and I am stuck with this duff unit that I want to exchange for a new one....I dont want a refund. This is my typical luck!0 -
