I've tried and not very satisfactory - going to try and sell on Ebay I think. Got it for £100 from sommerfield - have speed cameras downloaded - should at least recoup my money I hope.
Two main problems - sound: no headphone socket so need to use sight only
batteries - they really don't last I did an hour riding with brand new duracell batteries and they were dead.
Good feature that I hadn't thought through though was showing the contour of the roads, I know it may be obvious, but I was using it for directions only, but when you zoom in you can see how sharp bends are, so after a little getting used to I was loving the fact I didn't need to slow for a blind bend - cos you know it isn't sharp etc.
Finally they aren't designed for bikes - so I bottled the attatching to windshield and went for siting it in the top of a tank bag - ok but not great. There is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0 -
Incidentally I don't know if folks are aware just how good the homebase reward card is. I took one out last year when I was buying quite a bit of stuff - when I got my statement they were paying 10% back. Ie buy the sat nav today - get it for £90 plus get a further £9 cashback in due course. There is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0

Hi all,
I'm not sure if this is the right place to say? but after much deliberation I decided to buy a Navman 320 today, the cheapest (by foot not via the internet) was The Link at £163.99, but it's been reduced now to £149, so I thought I'd let you guys know

I think that's about the average price on the net..around £150.Check out Amazon for instance. There was a thread here last week saying the 320 was on offer at Homebase for £99:)Darren0

I checked out Homebase but there was none in my local, I had gone to Halfords (blinkin expensive in shop), Comet, The Link, Argos & Toys R Us. I don't have a credit card so I am limited with shopping online where I'm sure there are more bargains available!

I went to my High street today and went to The Link Mobile Shop, i saw Navman 520 is going for £149.99 which is £100 less than normal price, thought that would be a bargain buy whoever looking to get a Satelite Navigation system for your Car, and that's an All in one system too!0

Are you sure it's the 520 & not the superceded 510?
