BB5 phone, there are no free remote codes, you will have to contact your network provider, or a professional unlocker/market stall. There are remote codes, which you can purchase from the web, on certain networks, but they all cost.

Hi Does anyone know if its easy to unlock a nokia 1208 as i have an orange sim with £21 on it that i d obviously like to use up as well as use my pulse mini which i have to say im pleased with. Thank you

DCT4+ phone I’m afraid, there are no free remote codes, but your network provider/market stall, or a pro unlocker can help here.

Hi I wonder if someone could help or advise me? I'm trying to unlock my Nokia 6500s-1 from '3'.

First I tried Trycktill.com which suggested the boxserial is 32821 and gave me these codes (#pw+814161536233476+1# and #pw+088943603631555+7#) which I tried but neither worked. Then I tried https://www.lur.nu which suggested the boxserial is 33820 and gave me these codes (#pw+804171536233476+1# and #pw+078953603631555+7#) and neither of them worked either. So I think I'm now on my last attempt and better get it right this time.

How can I find out the correct boxserial for this phone?

The IMEI number is 35867 50140 77215.

Thanks baldhead. I should have read some of your previous posts. I called '3' about unlocking - they said they have to pay the manufacturer to get an unlock code so they couldn't do it for free, even though I'm signing up for a new expensive contract to upgrade my phone. Any idea if that's true?

They did offer a discount though: £10 instead of £15. But I don't think its worth paying to unlock such an old phone.
