hi,

i'm after a bit of advice if possible

i have a nokia x6 on contract with o2, i want to use my vodafone sim in it, (long story)

i asked o2 for the unlock code which they sent to me FOC with full instructions on how to enter it.

it now appears that this has not worked even after talking through the inputting of the code over the phone with their customer services.

aparantly this phone is now permanently locked to the o2 network (or so they tell me)

they are just washing thier hands of it,

is there any way i can still get this phone unlocked for use with another network.

Yes, but you have to take it to a professional unlocker and should be charged about £25/30.
