They are the same, but we need the model & IMEI number to see if it can be unlocked by remote codes. If it's locked to 02 and it wont allow you in, it might be the Pin number you require which is a four Digits.

I have read, from previous posts, the the Nokia 6700 Slide phone is unable to be unlocked via unlock codes. Does this mean that only the network provider can do it or can a mobile phone store do it too?

A pro unlocker should be able to unlock it for you.
