    Not long then :D

Bit of a dull day here! Super busy at work and all complaints about deliveries etc which is a bit annoying! Hopefully I have sorted them out though!

Just using reduced lamb to make a lamb casserole and making a stash of carrot and swede mash to freeze :) Other than that I am looking forward to cuddles with hubby when he gets home x

  • Hi Happy,

Can I subscribe to your diary please?.

I haven't got two days spare to read your whole diary, so I have started from two pages ago :o.

Is it alot of money you are expecting from hubbys work? Will it make a big dent in the debt total?

I gather you are trying for a baby?. Have you ever looked at the FertilityFriend Website. It used to be a great place, active forum and if you have OCD like me you can even chart your cycle, for free, by taking your temp every morning.
By taking your temp every morning before you get out of bed you can tell where you are in your cycle and also tell VERY early when you have conceived as your temp goes sky high.

If its not your thing just ignore me.:o:)

  • Hi stressed steph :-), you must have read my mind I do my temp with fertility friend and have bought myself some ovulation sticks. I wouldn't expect you to read all my diary haha that would be torture. I've basically been paying down negative wealth this is the first time in 4 years I have had a substantial amount of monthly income left over to tackle the numbers :-). Oh's bonus will make a huge difference to the outstanding negative wealth about 10k difference :-) I will apply it to the negative wealth and then by may time I should have cleared all unsecured. I will then focus on the secured :-). Il be paying off a credit card this month too I need to keep focused and keep overpaying while the opportunity is available. I've been and bought some Xmas gifts today in the sale lol I'm trying to be organised so that I don't have a huge outlay in December haha. I will look for your diary steph xx

Good morning i have jumped up and down on other threads but oh was approved for a 20 month 0% with virgin that means we can transfer the remaining unsecured cards on to it and pay it off over the 20 months and focus all excess on the secured loan it doesnt make a difference to the dfd it just means that we will pay less out the last month of negative wealth payment. However i base my spreadsheets on my basic salary that doesnt account for unsocial hours and i will be opting to do lots so that i can maybe overpay by an extra £100 or more, what i really would like to do is make a game of it so im not going to force cutting the budget we have a healthy excess but if i can make the shopping cheaper by my choice not by my NEED i will and that will all go on the secured the sooner its paid the better i will feel. I REALLY want to clear everything by my 30th but at the moment thats looking abit unrealistic il try my best but i dont want to build myself up for a fall, i cant plan for bonus's or unsocial hours so lets hope its possible with that :) xx

That's brilliant news about the 0% happy :T

It sounds like a great idea to base your repayments on the basic salaries, then anything extra is a bonus.

    Good luck!

you sound positively happy Happy :D

Great news about the card! It all helps . When are you 30?

I am concerned I won't eat my plan of being debt free in 2013 now that we have booked a holiday. I had worked out we should do it by November but th holiday is taking 2 months of saving plus mil says we have to pay for our Florida flights for next year by July this year! :-/ I am thinking a realistic aim now is to be debt free before I am 30 which is may next year. I'll be in Florida for my 30th. Coincidently the last time I went to Florida I flew back on my 20th birthday :)

Hubby has applied for a job today. I would be so pleased if he got it. It would give him a lot of prospects. He has been loyal to his current work for 10 years but we need to look after ourselves for the future now.
