I hope so but now we are moving to the amounts that are 2-4 k so it might take a couple if months to clear one. I must not get disheartened a debt gone is a debt gone at end of the day xx

So me and oh sat down last night and made an optimistic budget and decided we had taken our eye of the ball since we started Our current creditors are :

• Capital 1 APRIL 2013
  
• Santander card
  
• Mint card AUG 2013
  
• Halifax card
• Overdrafts NOV 2013
  
• Halifax card JUNE 2013
  
• Virgin card FEB 2013
  
• Barcalys card JAN 2013
  
• Halifax loan DEC 2012
  
• Secured loan .......

The targets above may swap and change, me and oh are thinking of starting a family dec/jan time then its how soon we catch on... The red marked balances are ones that will be taken in to 2014 i mean i hope they dont have to be if bonus's or payrises come in etc. So the current outstanding numbers are £39221.05 seems a lot but to me its manageable when its put against where we started. Ive also accounted for building some savings for a family for when the time comes.... the journey is still long but each month it gets smaller and thats all that matters. Life gets in the way and we just have to carry on so heres to some more number dropping xx

Looks like a good plan to me lovely. Lots of 2013 dates there and hopefully all being well the sound of tiny pitter patter feet in 2013 too - exciting times all round xx

Another payment made only small after intrest deducted :O so current pay off is £9058.60/48262.44. that means £39203.84 is outstanding.... so i need to make a plan, much to my upset it wont disappear overnight which is always abit of a pain and then theres the plans where you think you can get rid of every bit of extra cash on finances and never go out again lol ..... then theres the annoyance when you realise that is unreasonable... then of course you get the why cant i see 6 months down line and see if any increase in income is going to arrive and im going to put it on my negative wealth... so the ramble aside i am offskies to make a plan lol xxx

PS every plan up to now as been changed and then changed again because of the above reasons lol

Alas a new plan has been made much to my dismay but it is more realistic and means any extra i can pay will be a bonus but from january i will aim to dedicate an extra £500 to the negative wealth pot, which means i will have a reasonable target of paying off £8502.77 in 2013..... i will have a little payrise to come as will oh so we may be able to overpay that little bit more but i will not count it till its here and i will not get hung up on the numbers i will give myself a pat on the back and congratulate on what i have paid off so far and look forward to the journey

Sounds like a good plan to me. Like you say focus on what you can do/have done rather than what not - that's far too depressing outlook.

Anything paid off is a step in the right direction in my eyes and just keep remember how far you have come.

Another few payments made this morning so that brings the new total to £9116.13/48262.44 meaning £39146.31 remains ... that means since i had my lbm in 2008 we have paid off £38094.38 WOWZERS onwards and downwards
