Good on yah Penny, at last. You have to put yourself, DH and DD first.
So pleased that the family of the deceased understand your predicament.

    Take care x

Just popped back to catch up with the day & forgot to say Happy Birthday to Sunnyday this morning!! Hope you've had a lovely day :)
PenPin, so glad you are putting yourself first, I think Beth said it very well!
Sybil, hope the ankle feels better soon.

Got a headache, so had a couple of Syndol & will be unconscious shortly.... (i've only taken them twice in the past & they have that effect!!!)

Back to placement tomorrow :( but only 4 weeks left. Did start the methodology section of my dissertation earlier, I decided I was going to tackle the harder/boring bits first! Just gotta keep plugging away & soon it will all be over.... hopefully less headaches then too.

Also DD(just 17) now has a car!!! Her father has paid for it (bout time he did something!) so for £200 she has a peugeot 106, mot'd till December, taxed till July, reliable & it's from my friend so I know its history. She is very very pleased.... And is now motivated to find a job...!!! So this week we need to send off for her provisional licence & as soon as that comes through get some lessons organised. Once she is on the road that will make my life much easier :)

    ((hugs)) all.

    Hello everybody

Got home at around 5 this afternoon after spending 11 lovely days near the sea in West Kerry...five of my family and their partners and children came for varying stays so it was all go...got to see some of the people I only see when I go to Kerry. The weather was very nice for most of the time, couple of miserable days but we always do our visiting then! DS3 brought his boat with him last weekend so there were a few fishing trips...none of which were fruitful I'm afraid.

Have been trying to catch up....have read few days but remember nothing so will just say welcome to the newbies and welcome back to scuzz...sorry about the job.

Condolences to nic and anyone else who has had bad news while I have been away.

Smoky, glad to hear that you and the smokelets had a good time

Beth, thanks for asking about Ulick....he would be fine if he would do what the hospital tells him and keep away from his red wine....it doesn't go well with Warfarin....hospital reckon that the consultant may take him off it if he continues to drink, which will leave him with the same risk factor as he had before of another stroke....he must do his own thing on this. He is to have an assessment next week as to his fitness to drive, he hates driving and doesn't much but not sure how he will feel if told not to drive at all....

Sunnyday, hope that you have had a lovely birthday.

Is Halight still MIA? Hope that things are going well for him.

Tired now after my 210 mile drive....sleep well all, talk to-morrow.

Hi, Sorry not really up to posting tonight as it has been quite a harrowing day and we are exhausted mentally, emotionally and physically.

Just wanted to pop on to thank you so much for the messages of support from you all - you have no idea how much this has meant to me today.

Need to contact Coroner, Police etc tomorrow and more paperwork to be sorted so must try to get some sleep tonight - didn't manage any last night at all.

Sorry for delay Sunnyday - hope you had a lovely Birthday x

    Thank you all once again

    Mary
