Morning peeps
Thankyou for the birthday wishes, i was going to have a lie in this morning but i`m so used to being up early that i just couldn`t.
Will be out with the houndies shortly - they are raring to go. DH also has today off and we are taking Dad to the shops later and then i hope to be pottering in the garden and repotting some plants in the greenhouse. I hope that the weather brightens up as it has in the afternoon for the last couple of days. There is lots to do outside and i love doing it and ignoring the housework.
I forgot to take thie chicken out of the freezer yesterday so i need to do that now, the washing is blowing on the line and i`m off to mash another cuppa.
Nic - hope that you managed to get back to sleep ((((HUGS))))
MSD - Glad that you heard from Tristan
Enjoy your day peeps.
SDPlanning on starting the GC again soon0 -
Morning all,
I've spent a couple of hours on the patio doing the pots and tubs, clear blue skies here. Think I'll spend all day in the garden except when we go to meet a bunch of friends at our local at lunchtime, it's a Sunday ritual. I'm hoping my closest DF will be well enough to be there.
Roast beef & all trimmings for dinner. Strawbs & cherries for pud.
Managed to clear a pile of ironing and make a mocha cake y/day.
NIC, So sorry to hear your sad news, thinking of you and yours. Take care.
SUNNYDAY, Happy Birthday _party__party_
DIVA, So glad you heard from Tristan albeit a short contact.
PENPIN, Please don't over do it with the funerals, keep your strength for the 2 hosp appts you have looming. x
SMOKY, I'm also wondering if you're ok, (((((((HUGS)))))))))
DONNY-GAL, Have a safe journey, that bridge looks amazing.0 -
Nic1lou2 I'm so sorry to read your shocking news about DMIL. My prayers & thoughts are with your whole family.
A normal Sunday here with washing, ironing, running around finding PE kits & lost homework to doetc. DH out running a car boot with Lion's so he was gone before 6am. I went back to sleep and have only just got up. Weather beautiful again so more time in the garden I think. I ended up reading yesterday afternoon & didn't get anything done outside
but enjoyed the time anyway.
Roast chicken for dinner and I'm going to strip the meat off and make a chicken & ham pie with the remains tomorrow. DH can take some to work and the rest will get eaten for lunches :T
(((((((((((((((((hugs)))))))))))))))))))) to everyone who needs one.
Edited to add: Happy Birthday SunnyDay :bdaycake:

Good morning everybody.....spent most of yesterday in the Land of Nod.....dragged the body out of bed this morning to make coffee.....Thanks for the tip about the honey Diva.

Good morning guys.
I hope everyone is well, I haven't read back so belated happy birthday to anyone I have missed, a very happy birthday to you Sunnyday  , Nic - I am thinking of you at this time. xxxx
We have had a brilliant time and the weather has held except for 4 days which were very wet but I am not complaining as it's been great for the time of year and we all have suntans. The kids all want to go back next year and I think that we will, the area was clean (no dog mess!) and the locals were lovely and friendly.
We got home at 9pm last night so today is major clean day (I can't believe the mess 4 cats can make!) and do the unpacking, washing and ironing. I pulled some pork chops out of the freezer last night for tea, dinner - I will decide when I can get around the kitchen without dodging suitcases.
Right I need another coffee and then get moving. Gentle hugs to all in need today, Pen-pin - especially (I will be thinking of you this week).

Morning everyone,
Sorry to hear your news Nic. It must be a terrible shock.
OH and Ds1 are going sailing today. So no need to get a big lunch ready. I've got some great big pork chops for tea (part of my side of pork which I bought in Feb/Mar) so we'll have those for tea. Think I'll make a pudding for everyone, not sure what.
School tomorrow:j:j so they'll need packed lunches. I'll make some rolls or crusty crescents. Better make some flapjacks or something too.
Have a good Sunday all;)0 -
