Hi,

I need to know I currently have broadband with Orange. If I switch my phone line to Toucan will I lose my broadband connection?

Also how would you Toucan for the landline phone?

Their line rental is cheapest. I am running sky broadband on a toucan line, so there shoudnt be any problem. After 1st year of contract they normally reduce the line rental downto £4 if you threaten to leave.:D

i'm with toucan and my line rental is £4 per month and i've got broadband with them also and i get my broadband with them and that is 9.99 per month for it

Thanks for the reply.

Couple of months ago I changed my BT phone number and my orange broadband was temperary disconnected. When I contacted Orange they told me that this has happen because I have changed my landline number. It took nearly a month to sort it out.

Toucan are cheap so I want to move to them but I dont want my broadband connection temprary dosconnected.

Any suggestions.

Toucan are part of the Tiscali group.
As they sell exactly the same products I think this is fraud.
This way if a potential customers hears bad about one company,
they still get another chance with the other.

I am at war with Toucan about unpaid bills now ive left them.

Heh heh heh, very well done! I love the little Leggo man... Or is that really you? lol!

My experience with Toucan lasted only a few months, but they were so awful I still warn people away from them. I've since learned my lesson and now only go with entanet companies, adsl24 being my current provider of choice; they offer excellent UK based service and I'm never likely to reach their 300gb off peek cap (despite the fact that I download a lot of TV!), so I'm extremely happy with them.

It's funny though, even though I'd managed to get out of my 12 month Toucan contract because I'd threatened them with legal action for mis-selling their product etc, etc, they still insisted on sending me a bill every month telling me they'd take ME to court for the outstanding money... Even though the bills were for £0.00 every month. Humm, goes to show how dim they are as a company I think!
