Incapacity failed medical

Hi andy 1976
I have just had the same thing done to me (well im was on esa till 2 weeks ago they stopped it ) I am suffering from bad depression the doctor who done my medical didnt even bother to score me . I have appealed as well just because i can walk around and go to see my family they think i can get a job but my depression makes me really short tempered and cannot consentrate for long my own doctor says i am not ready to go and get a job yet he just signed me off for another 2 months .
So they just take note of a doctor that dont know me insted of my own doctor
at the moment i cannot claim anything i have no money as i cannot claim JSA as my doctor says im not fit for work esa stopped (waiting for appeal ) income support cannot claim that as my sons lives with me and claims jsa ? so i have nothing to live on ? the benefit system is a farst i dont think the goverment have thourght this through they ort to get in the real world0 -
The only thing wrong with the benefit system is that it is too easy to abuse. I live with anxiety, alcohol problems, depression and still make it to work every day. I also get angry easily (Have been known to punch the odd pebble dashed wall0 and have problems maintaining concentration for a long period. I havent had a day sick in years though.
I could get a sickline fairly easily (IMO) but I choose not to.0 -
good on you ESA obviously your depression is quite moderate!
however saying the benefit system is quite easy to abuse i beg to differ.
i have severe depression , disocciative disorder and Borderline personality disorder and i can tell you there is no way i can get to work !
there so many peopel who have no idea how depression can affect your life .. the problem with this ESA is that they dont even consider medical evidence given out to themBSC number 1830 -
andy tried the CAB or welfare right advisor for your appeal !BSC number 1830

You'll need official medical reports that give evidence of the severity of your condition. If you don't have them I think your appeal will be denied." The greatest wealth is to live content with little."

I'm not going to put a level on my depression but its bad enough that when I take a day off I tend to spend most of the day in bed obsessing on the many problems in my life, but, I guess that isnt really what my point was previously.good on you ESA obviously your depression is quite moderate!

The system is easy to abuse if you have the know how and quite a lot of claimants out there are better versed in the rules than staff are. I guess it could be argued that they are just exercising their 'entitlement' to benefit but I dont agree with that arguement.
In no way am I saying that everyone who claims is abusing the system but it irks me that some people lambast the system as being too harsh when that isnt really true. Alot of people with mental health problems would benefit from being at work. I know that its good for me to be at work. Much better than being stuck in the house all the time.0 -

All your replies to people's comments about your letter being too long and inappropriate have been saying that this is the way you're going to write!
If you're going to adjust your letter on the basis of people's comments then I'm sure everybody will be only too willing to help further.0 -

Which same old questions are you talking about? You will not get any questions in response to your letter from the DWP. You will get questions from the tribunal panel if/when you go to appeal. Is is what you are referring to?0
