Has anyone tried the 'badgers creek' white wine before? £2.74 a bottle is niiiiice, but does it taste like vinegar? Is it dry or fruity? etc...
Interested to hear what people think either good or bad.

Re: the digital tuner, the Aldi one is an internal card so requires you to open up your PC case and fit it into a spare slot. For a couple of quid less you can get a similar EXTERNAL device, which just plugs into a handy socket - http://www.microdirect.co.uk/ProductInfo.aspx?ProductID=12811&GroupID=0

Much less faff and you don't lose any of those nasty little grub screws from your PC case and stand on them in your bare feet. I speak from experience.

Thank you so much, really helpful. Forgive me for sounding so stupid but bought gorgeous Dell computer with 19 inch TFT with the help of this site. If I buy this gadget, will it enable me to get Freeview channels on it and also be able to record them on to the computer? Just sounds too good to be true!

Errrrrrrr....Yes, if your Dell has a spare PCI slot. It says so on the box, here.

    http://uk.aldi.com/special_buys/productnl_114.html

You will need to remove the side panel of your computer, with it unplugged not just switched off.

There should be a catch to unlock on the back of most computers, ( Dell can be different tho) that lets you slide one of the sides off. This enables you to add or remove components, or just look.
PCI slots are usually 2 to 4 in a row with similar largeish cards ( Modem, LAN etc) to the one in the Aldi piccy. Simply follow the instructions and plug the card into the slot after removing the push out piece of metal that lets the aerial and phone sockets stick out of the back of computer.

PS you will need an aerial though, another trip to pound shop

Hello - You know what I'm getting at here, dc, don't you? Will it replace the technosonic? The one on the link provided by gooey just plugs in to the computer. Wouldn't that be a lot simpler? I'm too chicken to take anything apart even with your help!

Wouldnt mind the DVB-T card if it has DBA Drivers or is supported by media portal.

Does it give a model number?

Had a quick search on the net - I looks like it does come with BDA drivers

They're also great for cleaning specs. PC World charge £8.99 for a twin pack of their own cheapy version. Been waiting for ALDI to get some more in. No more greasy specs. :j
This site has saved me a fortune :money: ...it's also cost me a fortune!
