The Traveler brand appears to be linked to Jenoptik. Amazon advertise their Traveler JD 4100 Z3 Digital Camera as a Jenoptik.

Aldi's offering here doesn't have the all important optical zoom or viewfinder which might put some people off, has a 512mb SD card capacity limit and relatively small 1.7in lcd screen.

Seems a good price though for a compact 5 megapixel camera depending on the quality of snaps. The Jenoptik lenses seem to get a better write up compared to other budget digital cameras such as the Lumicron.

What's the better buy? A 5mp compact at £49.99 or a 4mp not as compact with 3 x optical zoom and optical (battery saving) viewfinder at £36.77 with free delivery.

The Aldi DC has the faster USB 2 compared to the Amazon DC's USB 1.1

Dont forget to get some tft screen wipes they good for tft and crt's. They dont have them in stock much so its a good time to get some they always been asked on hardware forum.

I used to keep Tropical Fish, and the tank I had required some type of heater to keep the water at a specific/constant temperature.

It was much larger that the one shown though!
