    Good morning!

It's a lovely sunny day here which is just as well as the washing has been breeding overnight and there is 3 loads to do. I've got 1 on the line, another one in the machine and another one waiting to go  Only me, DS2 and DS3 up so far so it's pretty peaceful.

Not much planned for today I'm hoping to have a relaxing day and get some time in the garden. The raised bed needs a weed and the pots want top dressing. I lost 8 or 9 plants over this winter so I need to decide what is going in the spaces. I'm thinking about putting lots of bedding plants in to give some lovely colour over the summer then get some more hardy shrubs to fill in the gaps later in the year. It's an expensive hobby once I get in a garden centre  :D

Lasagne, wedges & salad for dinner this evening nice and easy as the lasagne is a bought one that I got reduced and froze.

I hope that everyone has a good Saturday.

Doelani & Lekale Welcome to the thread

HillStep :bdaycake: Happy Birthday, hope you have a good one.

    Morning all

Fine here but coolish so far, although a good day forecast, so 1st lot of washing out on line already, 2d nearly finished and 3rd shortly to go on - how can 3 people generate sooooo much washing!!!

Had a really bad nights sleep last night. Was so tired that I didn't eat properly (cheese on toast and yoghurt) and was in bed by 9 but then woke up feeling very, very sick and acidy and spent rest of the night propped up in bed. It was made worse by the fact that DD2 had a friend stopping over and they were cooking spag bol, drinking wine and watching chick flicks. The smell of the food was making me worse and then when they were in bed I was creeping round backwards and forwards to the bathroom trying not to let them hear me. At least I can take it easy this morning. Hubbie has taken my car into work with him to do a few minor repairs so I am a captive in the house this a.m.

When he gets home I want to go to the local(ish) wool shop and pick up some crocheting hooks and wool. I have been reading a thread about crocheting on here and used to do it over 20 years ago and have been inspired to give it a try again - something simple like a shawl or baby blanket to start. Worth a try - don't know if I remember how to do it properly but there are some tutorials on line seemingly so going to have a go.

Bm is on, going to try cooking mushroom rissotto for tea, I have tried cooking so many different things since I joined this thread, hubbie loves it:D

Piece of gammon to go in sc for tomorrow, can't wait for that:D

    Happy Birthday Hilstep:bdaycake:

Diva, glad to see you - where do you get your smilies from - love the little one on its back:rotfl::rotfl:

Tru I enjoy your posts too and would like a link to your blog if poss please.

Pen-Pin glad to hear your pain is a little easier - hope you feel much better soon.

    Lekale :hello:welcome to the thread:T

Ok off to hang next load of washing out.

    Morning everyone

Happy birthday Hilstep, have a lovely fabulous day - it sounds like you've got it all planned with some pampering, some time with friends and family and some time on the Wii.

It's a beautiful sunny day here in N.Ireland so I think I'll get my booty in gear and go for a walk. I've already got a load of washing done, but need to get some proper clothes on before I go out to the line (don't want to scare the neighbours by letting them see me in my jimjams).

I made a trip to Asda yesterday - it's about 20 miles away but is a drive along the coast road. As I'm unemployed at the moment it was so good to get out of these four walls and have a change of scenery. Don't ask how the job hunt is going - Oh alright then I'll tell you anyway. It's a jungle out there! Far too much competition for far too few jobs... Financially it's a nightmare...I'm going to have to find something else to pare down, which isn't going to be easy. Sorry I'll stop moaning now...

Grub today will be a nice lentil & whoopsied mushroom/celery stew - it was going to be soup but it's quite substantial unblended so it's veggie stew. And it's gorgeous too - think it's because the mushrooms are the chestnut variety. I got a £1 pizza out of Asda and that will be dinner tonight.

Ahhh blue skies are beckoning so a quick blitz under the shower and get dressed and I'll be gone.

    Have a lovely day all.

    Snowy.

So I thought I would come and see what you lovely folks have in store for you today :D

Diva - I bought a book from Amazon for Slow cookers/Crockpots, second hand but not a mark on it, I looked through it last night, and I just want to cook everything, there's so much can be done in a SC I didnt realise how versatile they were. How's Tristan doing now?
