Sky sent over the last month 2 letters, please fill in D/Debit form. Returned to them with letter saying I would not be filling in as I don't want sky packages.
Rec'd a letter today saying as I had not filled in the d/debit form they were cancelling, Hooray, however as you have not paid by d/d or credit card here's a bill for £152. for early termination of contract.
Err I cancelled before you did guys.
Longish phone call later and they agree it was sent in error and there will be no charge, got the nice chaps name incase another error occurs.

I've had no such letter...as of yet, will be keeping a look out though, thanks for the info
  • Whoopee another letter the same as before, phoned another person who cancelled it from the computer. Seems that Tesco direct registered all of them as normal connections. Not sure if I believe it.

  • This deal now seems to be at £146.81

Any way of getting it cheaper?

Not anymore im afraid, the Pay Once Watch Forever deal was removed due to *i presume* the problems it created.

Best way to get access to FREE channels via a dish is to get a PROPER freesat box from the BBC/ITV led Freesat https://www.freesat.co.uk
PLUS....BBC iPlayer should be available on those boxes by December, followed by other channels over the following year

Yes my new card for Sky Freesat came last week and works OK. Probably the postal strikes are delaying them.

My mother has still not been sent her replacement Sky Pay Once Watch Forever viewing card despite earlier correspondence with the Sky CEO when one of his minions claimed in a usual lieing Sky response that she would be sent her replacement card automatically in due course.
