Only found this post by accident in the middle of all the others - you might get more response if you started a new thread. However, I know a little bit about this.
If it is the one issued by the West Brom with "Commercial Union Assurance Company plc" on it, this is the same as the one I have.
This was sent out in November 1997 when the Privileged Membership was first introduced. But CU no longer exists as a separate company and I don't know if the cover still applies.0 -
Hi,Projected date I become a millionaire: 29th February 2016
Projected age I can afford to retire: 85 years 7 months
(Both figures calculated using Mr. Darling's financial modelling system)
just a wee aside,
so, will you be a millionaire before you can retire, or will you have to work on a bit after becoming a millionaire?0 -
Is the interest from West Brom paid gross or net and can they pay it gross? It's your money. Except if it's the governments.0

Following the Bank of England's latest figures, I'll have to change my projection and now calculate I'll be retiring when I reach 132 years old (by which time a million pounds will just about cover a week's shopping).0 -
The West Brom website is now showing that ebond 22 has been withdrawn and replaced with ebond 23:

The rate is 4.27% with a maturity date of 30th Sept 2010. Min investment is still £5000 but monthly interest is only for those putting in £50,000 or more.0
