sorry to butt in as well, ive deleted avg and got avira free. on the "what security do you use" thread, it says on there that avira doesnt scan emails (last bug came via an email from a well known friend). someone kindly replied to me on there saying that the premium one checked emails. i got rid of avg as it let some bugs thru and the general opinion on here seems to be that it isnt a patch on what it used to be.
is there any good free antivirus which checks emails as well? or am i better paying for avira premium or kapersky (didnt really want to pay!).
thanks,0 -
Avast! Home Edition (which is free) has an email scanner.0

Hi
Does Avira check all outgoing and incoming mail messages in the same way that AVG does?
Thanks0 -
