The french fishermen throwing their toys out of their prams just because they do not like the quota's that the english fishermen have to abide by and every other nation in europe also have to abide by is stupid, you do not see them effectivly kidnapping people, it is not much different to the pirates in africa, we will give you your ships back if you give us a bigger quota. Why are the french so much better than any other nations fishermen? hell no deal with it

    Thats Europeans for you :D

they panic, because they want to get home !!!!!! !!

If the fishermen really wanted to punish the British for something, don't you think they'd have blocked the tunnel entrance too?

I don't agree with wildcat strike action, but I do think it's funny that it was so successful so quickly - French people aren't as stupid as they're made out to be. You'll note that neither the French media nor the fishermen themselves made any suggestion that it was in any way a protest against the British: we're just those hapless sods who unwittingly agreed to help fight their cause.

    Yep. Definately gay.

    Look again at post no.47.

Then look again at yourself - has 'being British' now extended to compulsory homophobia?

    How so?

How long does it take British strikers to get what they want? Compare it with the French fishermen, who can now go back to the pub having won with only minimal effort. Doesn't sound stupid to me.
