the organisers have eye shadows lippy and mascara in, they are on offer 9.99 ...4.99 with voucher, and if you get a nice SA the bag goes through as well.
  • No great bargains in Bristol today, got the unkissed moisturiser for £1.50 but the 200 points coupon from the mag didn't work with it, it did however work with the £1.49 tanning wipe! I shall have some more of those, thank you please!
Saw the SA handing out the last avenue bag in Cribbs and no organisers in there - there were loads last week!!

I tried to use the 200 points from mag with suncare today. SA said the reason it didn't work was coz I was using £5 voucher as well. You can't use them both together.

Ok, I had my first Boots tarting experience today. I know I am not up there with some but I did alright I think. I went to Boots Brent Cross and spent £3.66, coming out with more than £20 worth of stuff as well as 108 advantage points and the £5 No. 7 voucher. I hope you don't mind if I tell you all about it because I am very happy with my purchases.

It's a bit less impressive than it sounds because I used a £10 voucher from Pigsback, but the important thing in my mind is that I am only £3.66 out of pocket all up.

First off I bought the Boots Hennah and Horsechestnut Shampoo for £1.39 and got the Coconut and Almond oil leave in conditioner for free (£1.29).

Then I bought the Botanicals Stretchmark corrector :o for £4.99 and got the Botanicals Firming Body gel for free (£4.85).

I didn't find a coupon for bonus points on the Brita filter cartridges but they did have an offer: save £2 if you buy two, so I bought two for £5.98.

I also bought two 500mL diet Cherry Cokes for £1.30, saving £0.68.

Oh, and I just now realised that I got some Neutrogena hand cream for about £3.00 which was on offer for 1/3 off, but it appears she put it in my bag without scanning it! I honestly didn't notice until I got home and was gloating over my haul. I guess it pays to shop on busy days. :o

I've got a couple of questions about the Huggies starter kit. The voucher says 'with any purchase of Huggies' -- will it work without a Huggies purchase? :o Or did anyone say it works with a Huggies trial pack?

Also, I've got a Parenting voucher for £1.50 off a certain size of Huggies (newborn, I think -- for my phantom baby! ;)) Does anyone know if it would work on a different size Huggies (as I do have a non-phantom toddler)?

    TIA :)
I have managed to get the starter pack with a Huggies swimming nappy trial pack at 78p, remember at the moment the free mini essentials item - the packs of three t-shirts or pyjamas are about the best that I found for value. I do not know about using the voucher against other sizes, but you could always try.
  • Oh dear...failed first attempt at Boots tarting!

Picked up wrong Avene bag and ended up paying £5.95 for it! Tried to get the No 7 organiser with £16 phantom pregnancy voucher but handed wrong Advantage Card over so ended up paying for that too! SA kept the voucher! (You do have to use the 'pregnant' card don't you or should the vouchers work with any old Advantage Card??) Also handed over a 250 point voucher for No 7 which didn't work either. All in all...an expensive disaster.

Do you think Boots will let me return the No 7 Organiser and the Avene Bag(Discover Kit)?????

Hiya moneypennyless, tbh I have only tried the 250 point voucher and the £5 voucher together using the 200 point voucher - what I have found is the 200 point voucher never goes thru.

Not tried just the £5 voucher and the 200 point voucher but will be trying that on Monday, will post back Monday and let you know, unless someone else can advise us please ? :D

Hi fellow mse'rs I bought some of the new essential moisturise No7 make up ,the other day and used £5 voucher, 200 voucher (from magazine) and the £2 off voucher from the machine and the s.a. didn't bat an eyelid. I did however, have other items in my shopping basket.cheers shrewdal
