  • Which 300 extra points voucher was this please

It was with a mailing I got last week. I don't get the double points vouchers (no idea why), so it wasn't one of those - the vouchers are yellow and they came with a brochure of new season stuff (it might be called 'spring in to beauty' or something naff like that.) HTH!

I tries to buy 2 No7 sun lotion things (BOGOF) and a lilac bag today at Pontefract. The SA said sorry these are on BOGOF so you can't have the bag- I was gutted. She seemed really nice and i thought she would let me. Must be somewhere in my area (between Leeds and York) that will let me do this?! I also failed with my points voucher for Skin Clear face pack- no 100 points added-she didn't even tell me it hadn't gone on. Should I complain??
I'm off to Castleford tomorrow and last week there was a lovely man on the till who would have put through anything-will try him!!

Kaja, they have loads of N07 stuff in the Wakefield shop (including the organiser) and the staff aren't fussy ( or too clued up) so usually have no trouble putting a lilac bag through :)

  • Upto £13.30 free (In Boots points, vouchers & credit) when you top up by £20 on O2

The free Health & Beauty magazine (given away free to Boots Advantage Card Holders instore) has a coupon in for free 200 points if you spend £20 on O2.

I put my Advantage Card into the machine instore today & it offered me 150 free points if I spent £20 instore.

I put a £20 top up on my phone today & my receipt says I got 430 points for this (200 from the top coupon, 150 from the other & 80 points for spending £20 anyway)

I then got a £5 No 7 voucher free for spending £10 or more.

About an hour later I got a text from O2 saying I had £4 free credit as part of there 20% free promotion (Never heard of this before!)

    That's a total saving of upto £13.30 (200+150+80+£5+£4) on a £20 spend

today got oilatum for friend - £8.95, blue hair gel for brother £2.99 & sc mask 89p. had 100 points on sc & 75 on £10 spend. got £5 voucher & 126 points so queried points, thought 75 not gone on as was from dh's card (added manually) but now reading that others sc vouchers not worked i think that may be where the shortfall lies! oh well, i got 2 lots of the 75 points then & when friend pays me for her stuff will be quids in!
Cleaning the house while children are growing is like shovelling snow when it's still snowing!
  • We had a new starter on our section today and she asked if she could come to lunch with me, she is from Poland and working over here for 12 months. Anyway, I took her into town for lunch via Boots of course !!!

Couldn't see the Avene bag anywhere and "the cardiff one" aka the skincare consultant was no-where to been seen.

The soltan sunscreen packs were not priced so I queued and asked them to price check it - she was amazed that it was only £2.49 and then said and it's BOGOF too - she was so impressed she called over 3 of her fellow SAs to see my bargain find and tell them to grab some before they all went !!

My plan of trying to distract the SA failed miserably because they were looking into my basket to see what other goodies I had found !!! luckily enough more customers came before they could see the lilac bag resting under my no.7 suncare on Bogof at £7.50.

Therefore, got 2 x Boots soltan Sunscreen Kids Pack bogof, 2 no.7 face serum, one lilac bag - total spend minus voucher came to less than a fiver !!! and I got another £5 voucher to spend, used my 250 points from previous bag but the 200 points from mag did not scan through - maybe I cannot use both at the same time ?

Just come back from DD1 Tae Kwon Do grading and stood next to a lovely lady who happened to be a Boots SA - I tried to get some "insider" info from her but I think I knew more than her - I did find out tho' she works on a Sunday at Boots in cardiff Bay so if I ever have to go there will time it for the weekend. Because the store is usually full of awful crabby SA's.

Also paid with my points for some Fleixtol heel balm (this was a sample posted by freebie_junkie) mum loved it so I bought her a full pack as a treat - it was £9.99 but apparently it's very good for softening the skin.

Now I have 4 £5 skincare vouchers to spend - ah decisions, ah decisions, oh go on then it has to be another lilac bag !! My Polish friend bought lots of goodies after I steered her into the right directions - i'll make a Boots tart of her shortly !! :T
;) I am the only Voucher Queen in my village LOL ;)

Echo, there are quite a few things mostly Xmas giftset items, but worth a look if you are coming across from Grimsby. There is another store on St Andrews retail park near the ice arena in the city centre which also has a clearance at the back of the store, but I haven't been there in a while so don't know how up to date that is. Someone else on MSE went last week and found the No7 summer organiser, they also have Ad machines at both branches.
Been to both Prospect Street and St Andrews today. Spoke to No7 lady in St Andrews no pallets in stock there - she did offer to give me a ring when they come back in but I declined as I don't go over to Hull very often. She said she has ordered some more hopefully arriving in next few days. Might be worth giving them a ring to check when in stock. Bit gutted as misadvised by a shelf filler in Prospect St she said none of the pallets left but I see from earlier post they were near the downstairs escalator. Are there any pallets left in Grimsby? Had a couple from there on Thursday and there were about 6 left.
