Not on BOGOF in all stores...today in Metro Centre I could only get one hair mask as BOGOF was skincare only, and even that didn't work on the till. SA had to overide it for me after I took her back to the shelf to show her the label.0 -

Hi lmcg123cat,
I just checked on the website.
Boots Botanics haircare is on BOGOF and includes the hair mask.
Boots Botanics bodycare is on BOGOF.
Skincare is not included in the offer.
Also it has to be 2 items from the same range for the offer to work e.g. can't have 1 item from haircare and 1 from bodycare.

I wasn't brave enough to take four to the till with these products but took two. The SA said I couldn't have two so I told her it worked for my friend and asked her to try it. She reckons it didn't work but I think she was fibbing. I thought I had got a saturday girl till I got close and noticed that her makeup had been applied with a trowel. I reckon she was from the makeup/perfume counter (our Boots is too small to have seperate No7 etc counters).
I was still happy as I got two of the £24.50 Firm your body kits and a mascara with my parenting club voucher.
I got 4 yesterday with 2 x £24.50 sets with my parenting club voucher so it will go through the till. the young male SA looked puzzeled as they went through free and leanded over to the young female SA on the next till saying is there an offer on the no7 mascara she said yes free if you buy anything! lol.
200 points mag voucher went on but 300 ACM botanics hair voucher didn't, i bought the hair mask with my other voucher (they finally got some in stock yay!) Didn't notice till outside but didn't bother going back as it was busy and i didn't want to push my luck.
No sign of any bogof deal with the botanics advertised in store - i checked every section in the shop - didn't risk it as i was on a limited budget. Can anyone confirm it it def going through on the tills?
Does anybody know if you spend £40 on baby if the til will let you have 2 x basics baby clothes sets in one transaction?
Also what are the best buys for the freebie basics baby clothes?0 -
Sorry if I am repeating this but I can't see it anywhere. Johnsons babywipes are BOGOF and they include the 144's (double packs) @£3.31 although it doesn't state this in store, making them about 83p a packet!0

You can also use a £1.00 off Johnsons wipes parenting voucher with BOGOF making it an even better bargain (about 54p a pack)

Well, at Camden Town Boots they were definitely BOGOF as I got the hair mask and some shampoo for free with the parenting voucher. The SA was very surprised but didn't pull me up on it, just blinked and said 'wow, you get that for nothing!'
I also bought, in a separate transaction, two No. 7 suncare products BOGOF (the body buffer and the preholiday kit) for £5.50, got a mascara for free and also used the 200 points voucher from the magazine. I didn't realise the voucher was one use only. I've had three uses from it as the first time the assistant gave it back, second time I forgot to use it and called customer service who added it for me, but today the SA took it, scribbled on it and kept it. Oh well, it had a good run.In the same transaction I bought some deoderant on special and also Boots body lotion, BOGOF.
Strangely, certain stores seem to give good vouchers from the AC machines and others give bad ones. Brent Cross Boots have never given me a single voucher at all (always says 'this service not available today') but the ones on Oxford St seem to give good vouchers. The recent AC mailing I got from Boots had 300 points if you spend over £8 on BOOTS haircare.
Now all the boots own hair care stuff (anti dandruff, ingredients, hair science, pro -v, botantics etc..) is BOGOF at the mo so you only have to spend £4 to get the 300 points plus i you get the botanics 50points voucher in the AC machine you get alot of shampoo for £4 and 350 points.
I found this out today by accident when I was trying to actually spend £8 and not being a tart!
The birta loophole also worked for me! :rotfl:0 -
Many Thanks to Hilary1, Bedshaped, Mcallister1 and Cookiemonster25,
I got my eyes tested yesterday, and managed to get the half price eye test voucher from the ACM, making it £9, and by god, they were thorough, well worth the pennies.
Unfortunately, I had a scoot around for any leaflets which may have given me extra points, but couldnt find any, and when I paid, it was only 1 point for every pound spent rather than 4 points per pound. Never mind, like I say, the staff were lovely and extremely thorough, and I am claiming back the £9 thro work anyway. Just nice not having to lay so much out in the first place.
They did ask me if I wanted to look at their glasses, but I said I didnt have time, as I had to pick my children up (hubby was walking round town with them!!), I had already picked what I wanted from spex4less, for a lot cheaper!! :Aif you cant have what you want, be grateful for what you have :T

chelltune wrote:Huggies are on 3 for 2 which makes three of the larger packs under £20. Apaprently the till recognises the price before the deduction and you still get the free essentils clothing item. I haven't tried this but it was posted on another site.0
