The Advantage machine in my local Boots is out of order every time I visit  , so I don't get to use many of the deals mentioned here.
However, my free Pigsback £10 Boots voucher was burning a hole in my pocket, so I popped in the other day.
I bought two Botanics items on BOGOF (ie. 4 items all together), plus a hair product to bring the total up to just over £10, handed over my coupon and got back a gift voucher card for £4, as well as 23 Advantage cards credited to my account! :j
My receipt shows the total as £10.00, so I'm totally confused, but I'm looking forward to going back and trying to spend the rest of the voucher!
By the way, shoperholicnot, the Brita offer was still on that day (Thursday).0 -

I would continue to howl until a manager came out to calm you down. I would make it very clear how hurt you were at the woman accusations because you have gone through so much to become pregnant and now that you finally are it was suppose to be the happiest time of your life but people with her narrow mindedness are ruining the experience you had worked so hard for.
I wonder why those staffs have to say something like that to their customer. At the first place ,there is no stuff in boots belong to them why they care?On the other hand, they say something like that is silly enough to get them into big touble.I may not cry in front of them but I will write down his name(do it very obvious in front of him) and tell this staff I will complain to boots in brief tonite.Besides, I will come to boots shopping everyday and make sure I check out by him. Also, I will suggest him working as police instead working in boots!!0 -

hi..about 10 years ago when my kids were babies, when i was in boots the security guards was following me round all the time... so when i went home i wrote to boots head office, and they sent me a letter appologising, and a £10.00 gift voucher....on wednesday i had loads of vouchers, from the parenting club, plus the points vouchers, plus the £5.00 n0 7 products vouchers to use...i was in the store for about a hour...doing different transactions at different tills, to get the full advantage of the bogof n0 7 glitches etc...anyway the security guard was following me round.. and was making it obvious he was, which made me go into a right fluster...as to make it worse the boots sa's were moving the products round for the start of the new promotions....
ok. technically i wasnt paying for a lot of the stuff, but that was boots fault..i still declared them at the till.....
so i have written a letter to head office again.....so lets see what happens...
with the person who was upset by the comments of the sa at the till about her age, and the pregancy vouchers, it might be worth you writting to head office, and expain what happened, you can allways say you where getting the products on behalf of your daughter.......you never know you might get a voucher......

i guess they would with an hour spent going to different tills etc. my little bro. works for security and they get lots of shoplifters that take back one item at a time to different tills hoping for a refund or exchnge..

ye i know i've done nothing wrong...but me and my hubby get it in a lot of places, just because we wear leathers, and our jackets are full of patches, they automatically think we're going to nick something..... plus.. what i was worried about if they did pull me into the office and went through everything with the manager, it would bring the glitches to the manager's attention, which might bring to an end some of the glitches.....or make the sa's look out for them, so they could be over ridden.......
i think next time i will have to borrow my mothers twin set and pearls, maybe they wil leave me alone then.....

these days i can go to boots with my baby in his sling..dirty hair..ropey clothes..and I get ll the offers i want, plus perfume/makepu samples.
so i don't think they do judge like that
mybe you are lookin g'shifty' in dmeanour if you are self conscious bout being followed and thats why..

ye i do get looks now and again, or they blantantly do the sly i'm not really looking look........but i believe people should be treated no different what ever they wear or look like ....as bikers we're a firm beliver in manners and respect to people....
but there we are i expect the security guard got to look as though he's doing his job....plus it doesnt help when the pmt's are lurking......Work to live= not live to work0
