Who is to say that the customer wasn't pregnant and wasn't really in that situation? With the SA continuing to treat customers like that one day they will end up with a real case of accusing someone of not being pregnant when they are and make the customer feel really bad. It might seem bad for the display in store but if it draws the managers attention to the lack of customers service skill of the SA and gives the SA a near enough experience of the stress they could cause and the damage that they do to customer relations then i personally see it as a good thing. There are better and more diplomatic ways a SA could deal with a situation like that.

I agree with Floydy, although I perhaps wouldn't have put it so harshly. I really enjoy using the thread and making use of the loopholes in a limited way. However, there is no way I would pretend I was pregnant to gain vouchers and freebies, I would not feel comfortable telling lies like this. That is only my personal opinion and I am not telling other people what they should or should not do, just giving another view.

I know that discussions aren't really allowed on this thread but I'm with you on this one, I would never pretend to be pregnant just to get something free - I think that it's spoilt it for people who would have genuinely received these gifts as Boots will probably put a stop to it now anyway - if they had any sense.

Stand aside please, new offer coming thru! :p

With most MENS toiletries ranges, there's now a

"Buy One, Get One Half-Price" promotion

This is an automatic deduction at the till, no voucher required, no crabby SA to confuse!

As an offer, it's a bit on the crap side, but should hopefully work with "Old style reduced TS" and "reduced old style FCUK" and may also work in conjunction with the "Easy4men 50 points AC voucher".

Apparently works with "razors" but the stand promotion doesn't say whether it works with "razor blades" (if it does - 3D protector diamond blades are now at a new lower price).

Botanics haircare is BOGOF. So if you have a Parenting Club voucher for a tub of Botanics 5 Minute Deep Conditioning Mask (worth £4.99) you should be able to pick up two tubs without any problems. :j

Have just come to post about this offer.
It definitely works with Old style Trevor Sorbie AND reduced FCUK.
Had 2 Ts Face Scrubs for £2.25 and 2 FCUK bodywash for £2.62 today (all old style packaging)

Still no decent points offers on AC for me. My points are running low since I got myself a reduced hi-fi with them a few weeks ago so I need a good glitch like the EI again or TS to boost the balance :p

    Today Boots Chester

i returned the no7 sun kit £24.50 and the other sun kit £19.50 bogoff which I bought the other day to get the free mascaras as OH said we've got far too much no7 stuff that will just sit in the cupboard, and I thought I'd put it towards a You are what you eat salad spinner/grater so we can be healthy (reduced from £40 to £30) and was expecting £24.40 back when suprisingly both items scanned at full price and I was refunded £44.

Which meant I had to search the shop for something else to buy. Ended up with a lovely mantlepiece clock reduced from £15 to £5 and a holiday digital radio for the kitchen. All free since the no7 went through free the other day anyway.

Then I had Botanics hair masque bogoff and free with parenting voucher.

Then Nivea deodorant 342 but points from ac went on each one.

But I still couldnt get the assistant to scan two Britta ac vouchers for one transactions.

It feels like my birthday every time I go to Boots.

The way Boots tills are set up, is if you're returning something that's BOGOF, the till doesn't recognise it and treats the two items as separate.

Just another one of Boots tills' funny quirks - I don't think it means the suncare BOGOF is finished. :)

Its a bit odd though because last week my daughter took back a no7 sun cream thing £7.50 and was told she would have to return 2 as the till said it was on special, so they wouldnt take one on its own.

    Hi,

How many mascaras go through the til as free when you buy the No7 BOGOF kits?

Do you have to spend over £10?

    Thank you

Returned my dodgy DR hand kit today for an £8.49 exchange, and got the following:-

    No7 body buffer - 5.50
    No7 Hair spritz - 0.00 - BOGOF
    No7 Mascara - 0.00

    3 easter eggs - 3-4-2
2 x Boots Hair removal cream - BOGOF
    3 baby cotton wool packs - 3-4-2

spent £8.14 (£10 pigsback voucher) - got £1.86 back on a gift card
used various vouchers and got 682 points

really happy - especially as I got the mascara for a £5.50 spend and 450 points back :j :j
