    Hi Dialysis,

Showergirl has been telling me about yourself and my thought's go out to you.

If you were to get your ppi refunded would this be able to stop them taking your house off you.

I think it is a disgrace that you should lose your home when it is not your fault

I hope things work out for you

  • Hi guys

Sorry I've not responded to your PM yet di, I have been away for a few weeks and trying to catch up on a lot of stuff :o

I've had a read through the PPI discussion threads and am not totally sure what the situation is with dialysis' house but it looks like you've somewhere to move to now dialysis and I hope this works out well for you :)

If you need any info on the Social Fund there is some in our Debt Problems guide, you may find some useful info in there about repossessions too. We can't help with individual cases i'm afraid but there are some very good advice agencies out there that may be able to help you.

On the petition, thanks for waiting for confirmation from me but you didn't really need to get MSE's permission to start a petition on your own. You do need permission to post it on the forum but you could have been working on the content while you have been waiting to hear from me so sorry again if I have caused a delay.

It looks like you have a good idea on how to go about setting up the petition, we have done a couple on the No10 website a few of you have mentioned, and I think this is a good site to use, although sadly is not guaranteed to get a response from the powers that be :(

Your ideas so far look good, so go ahead and write a petition, post it as a new thread and someone let me know the link and we'll make it a sticky on the PPI board :)

I think it will be a great idea to make this petition matter into a sticky.

Hi nassie Thanks for your thoughts. To stop repossession it would depend on what refund we got. Unfortunatly we are very close to signing for our council house so it looks like as we still havent heard anything about refund, time has run out. We have no choice but to move out and see what happens. Once again thank you.:T;)

Hi Wendy Thank you for all the info you have provided I will chek out the forum for any info supplied. OUr position now is that we are very close to being repossessed and have been offered a council house which we are due to sign for tomorrow friday. we have to take this as once the repossession starts I want to be out of the house and obviously not homeless. Thanks for the info about the petition I will chat with Di and see about getting started then ;)
