Hi di, i see you on one of the other threads, hope things picking up a bit for you. Really hope your son is managing ok and you are keeping ok. Its very quiet here without you!! Im still waiting for my halifax money, so much for having a wee spending spree over halloween!! Back to work on fri and children back to school tomorrow so at least its money in the bank for me though looks like i'll be lucky if i get to spend it at christmas the way halifax is going!! Ah well had a nice few days off with no major dramas in the madhouse (for once!) so cant complain!!! Talk to you all soon, keep well everyone!!!

Oh I am so sorry your still waiting for your money! Have you tried contacting your local MP who may write to them on your behalf?
We are suggesting this, as it seems the CEO is now not available for a little while.

You should certainly get your money before Xmas, and I would be asking for further redress as well for all the waiting, as they've had ample time to deal with it, maybe your MP could mention this.

LOL, its a madhouse in my house everyday........well over the last few weeks anyway LOL . Glad you had a nice few days off honey and all the best at work on Friday.

I am posting now and then, but not as often, trying to space things out a little as well but miss it so much.

hello every1

i have 2 quistions and wonder if anyone can suggest something.

1) after reading news/info on the site i reclaimed PPI and have got back(just because of money saving experts) 3600 from Halifax and 549.00 from RBS. RBS account was being dealt by a credit managment(appex) who confirmed that outstanding balance was reduced by 400.00 and rest 149 was paid as intrest to financial ombudsman, not sure why , as financial ombudsman was not involved at any stage of my complanit. what should i do ?? can they do this ??

2) other quiostion is can i recliam missolde LIFE insurance and home insurance....as we took mortgage in 2004 thorugh a brooker from was advised at the time we must have life and home insurance form HSBC ...em sure it comes under misselling ...any suggestions ?

Hi and welcome.

I am baffled on the FOS part of it and the interest, to me that does not sound right.
You need to contact them in case they got your case confused with someone elses where they may have their own with the FOS.
Call them and ask what is the FOS to do with your case when you've not at all involved them.

And in regards of the other, life insurance it may be reclaimable, but I feel maybe Dunstonh or MagpieCottage will advise better on this one, so below I started a new thread for you, title it something like:
"Life Insurance Reclaim", then post in that actual thread, hope that helps, good luck.;)
