If you get a chance to see MJ's daughter on the news watch it, but make sure you have plenty of tissues

Mornin all, sun is shining so my washing line is full.
Does anyone else have this spooky problem? I swear that there are beings in my house who magically multiply my ironing pile by at least 10 times overnight. Now if only I could convince them that I hate money as well!!!!!

Tee Hee. I have that problem. Also when it is ironed and you have to put it all away it does not all fit in the drawers. Yet I never have anything to wear.

Hubby has a gut feeling he does not have the job, for the one he really would like, I told him to wait and see, as they are still currently making a decision, they did state they would let them know either way, either by letter or phone call.

I imagine it would be a phone call if successful and a letter if not, but still I hear many stories that some companies do not getting back at all:confused:, we shall wait and see.;)

    Mornin all,
Also hope you're you're worrying for nothing and that it'll be a good outcome for you both (and family). Cwches sent your way. xx

Well it's official (according to my daughter) I'm old-fashioned. No, never, I hear you say. I made a comment to her yesterday about pregnant girls wearing low-slung bottoms and tops that only come to where the waist used to be. I don't find it very attractive and think the bulge should be covered by material, fitting or loose doesn't matter, just not bare skin please.

I've got loads to do, but my get up n go has got up n went, if anyone finds it hiding somewhere or has some to spare please forward it my way.

    Hi Max,
Thanks, when it's working properly you couldn't wish for better, but the older it gets the more time off it wants. Make the most of it.

    Hi folks

    Thanks all for your wishes.;)

Okay an update on my hubby's situation.

They have contacted him, they are starting by taking on in batches, he is not in this first batch, they have his name down for the next batch which is the unit bit that is still being built, they have sent letters out to the first 5 to start next week and hubby was told that himself and 4 others are going to be called in - in due course to have a tour of the new unit, and a chat to the plant manager as they said he is more suited going by his steel work experience of the new part that will be opening by either August or early September.

So at this time its 3 batches but he will just have to wait, that is saddest part, but at least he have not been turned away - yet.;)
Letters does not confirm successful or unsuccessful, because its not over yet......, so it looks like before he receives a firm answer there will be another interview, well sort of...I think it will be a just a general tour of the new part though myself.

Okay the new part, as its more of a difficult job, he has been told the pay is even better again, but good things come to those who wait, although we think he's waited long enough.
He said he will abide his time by seeing if there is anything to go on with, even if its temp.

So will post as we hear more.;)
