    Hi everyone,

It seems like ages since I have been on here. Hope everyone is well.

Di glad to here your dad is OK, just hope your hubby gets good news soon on the job front.

Marshallka how is your dog, has he needed another op on his eyes.

Can't wait for the 15th of this month as I am on holiday from work. Things are getting hectic now as people are due holidays and we are short staffed as it is. I just wish people would not say they will cover shifts then not turn in. It really puts the rest of us under pressure, but I suppose I shouldn't complain at least my job is secure.

My daughter starts her new job on Sunday. I am glad that she has got something to keep her busy whilst uni is finished.

Hope you all have a good day

Hiya showergirl, good luck to your daughter on Sunday - day of rest:eek:.

You're right about being grateful you job is secure. So many round here where we live are being made redundant. Its everywhere isn't it.

My dog got operated on again today and they also did a few other tests too at the same time. She said it was unusual for an ulcer to last this length of time and she wanted to rule out disease. She has ruled out diabetes, glaucoma and something else but she has also done a culture to send off next week too. He came back negative for the ones above and she did say she was glad as my dog was not an ideal candidate for diabetes and she was glad he did not have it with being hyperactive. They have done the same op again but they want him back next week and if its still not clearing then they will send the blood culture off as this costs us quite a bit too. If its not clearing then they will have to give us the option of seeing an eye specialist but she said this would be thousands. We really cannot afford that but we will do all we can. Its sad really that small ulcers have now become big ulcers and already cost us £525 and then they still have not healed and my dog is still suffering too. I have been quite depressed about it really today. I just want him better. They can do the slicing the cornea op next and then they cover it with a contact lense type thing but she says he would no doubt not be able to keep it on his eye and it may not work. They have done all they can for now. Just have to hope and pray now.

    Hi Marshallka

So sorry to hear of what your dog is going through, and you and your family, its not easy is it?

I hope and pray everything will go right for you all.:A

You must be having a right tough time of it, I know I would find this hard to deal with when it comes to a family pet who you adore so much.

I wish you all the very best, and Daniel have been asking of him a lot as well.;) XXXX

Been reading on some of the threads here today that the FOS are now able to look at all complaints in regards of PPI despite the age of the finance.

I have emailed the FOS on this, did not ring, as I am hoping for a response in writing by email so I can post on here.

    Interesting isn't it ?;)

    Hi Di,

This would be good news for those who have hit a brick wall with their claims.

As per usual you are on the ball:A

Hope to speak to you later

    Hiya Showergirl

    How are you?
Hope your not working too hard.;)

Yes I agree, and hopefully if this is right the finance companies may not mess people about either by fobbing them off.

As soon as I hear something by email I shall post up.;)

Hello Di, I saw that post about BlackHorse and ALL PPI complaints being looked at. Would love to have that clarified.

Hello Showergirl hope you are well and that your daughter is looking forward to Sunday.

Marshallka you have my sympathy in regards to your dog, mine have both been well til last year when one needed a full hysterectomy or die and the other had her tail amputated, it is heartbreaking, both mine have made a full recovery and I hope your dog does to.

Hello all you other lovely people , Amersal, Max, etc hope life is treating you well.xx
