Is the sun shining where you are it is raining here.
Typical on my day off luckily I haven't much washing to do, got a little bit of ironing but will do that later. I had to scrub my kitchen though, you could have grown tatties on my floor it was that dirty.
Have been trying to do a little before I go to work but some days I am so knackered I just can't be bothered.
My friend who is off sick called in to see us yesterday, She looks well but starts her radiotherapy today so is still going to be off for another couple of months, so it looks like I will be working 6 days a little while longer
Hi Showergirl
It was bright and sunny earlier but we have had some heavy showers the last few hours, but luckily got my washing dry.......and did all my ironing :T:T:T.
Sorry to hear about your mate, hope everything goes well for her, and I feel for you also working long hours......., try to take it easy when you can hunni.:AXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -

Hi all - another week over and nothing back from the FOS as yet! I'm not sure how to read it - either they are taking a long time trying to work out how to tell me they've made a mistake and my complaint does fall within their timescales, or they're telling Sainsburys to stump up! Who knows with the FOS or Sainsburys. I've found them both to be as mysterious as each other!
In the meantime, I've made arrangements for the final payment to Egg on 16th. Thereafter, no Egg card and they'll be a bit of history on my credit record. I opened that card about 8 years ago so I'm so happy to see the back of it eventually!
Same with my RBoS card - it's about to go soon too. It's been a long journey but getting there!
On a personal front, off to see Oasis soon and waiting for my tickets - only a few weeks before the show so they can't be far away!Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Sounds like you are on top of things Bathgatebuyer, hope the Sainsbury claim goes your way , I couldnt understand where the FOS were coming from on that one so fingers crossed.
Oasis tickets you lucky thing, have a great time xxDS1 12/10/04

Yeah, their 'outwith the timescales' response was just a mystery to me. If they come back and say it's still outwith the timescales for them to consider it, I'll be going all out to make the biggest complaint I have ever made about anything! (And that would be quite something after taking on 4 banks in the past few years!) If anything because it means I've lost the timescale to take them to court and I will certainly raise this with the FOS if they don't find in my favour. It's been about 5 -6 weeks since they told me it was time barred, so I'm hoping they'll get back to me soon.
Fingers crossed they are takig so long as they are trying to tell Sainsburys in the nicest way possible to stump up the £1,000! (Which is now precisely the balance outstanding on the card).
Oh, also got Take That in Glasgow in a fortnight too! Heard both bands have been great of late so really looking forward to them - just wish I wasn't going on my own to both.Almost debt-free, but certainly even with the Banks!0 -
Hi folks
Hope your all well.
Was reading through my local news online (BBC news) and even though the weather seems settled for now here in Wales, it was very bad yesterday, here in the link below is an example of how bad it was yesterday and so:

I think we are due for more rain later though, with a bit of luck it will pass.;)XXXXThe one and only "Dizzy Di"0 -
