Meeting taken place with dad's team only, mum was given update this afternoon when visting, they have confirmed a nursing home will be best for dad, not just down to the dementia, but because he has a lot of medical problems as well.

This is one of the nursing homes we are looking at over the next few days here:

Evening all, I seem to have missed everyone, it sure has been quieter without you SD hope you have had a better week at work. Fortunately bacon is on offer at the moment.Are you really Darren Brown:rotfl:
Hi Karen, I think we have all been suffering from post Chistmas blues but as you say the days are getting longer, it wont be long and we will see some snowdrops. Hope you feel brighter.:wave:
Evening Di, I've taken a look at the home it looks lovely the rooms look homely and the testimonials seemed genuine,the garden looks beautiful, I think if care homes are presented well then they are usually well run and caring, we have quite a few homes here, of varying reputations, I know you will have a good eye yourself.:A
Hubbys just been called out with the coastguard this tends to be busy month unfortunately christmas and new year too. Please pray for the teams out trying to help and for the person they are trying to help and families. Thank you.

How is your lovely daughter these days?
Hope she's feeling loads better now.;)

I have heard lots of good reports about this nursing home, there are a few others to view as well, this one is about 6 miles from me, not that far really.
Will keep you all posted on this.

OMG your hubby has a very dangerous job, and a very rewarding as well.......:T:T.
Bet you worry all the time when he's out on call. XXX
