Hubby was successful with his in Dec 2009, signed the acceptance form with the FOS (Credit Card PPI), if you remember it was also passed on to the ombudsman cos Lloyds ignored the other from the adjudicator.

Still waiting for payment to be sorted though.
The FOS suggested as this is a settled account and paid off for in full in 2004 that they refund direct to hubby and an extra £100 for compo.;)

Yeah thats the one. PF has had his complaints in twice he says and twice the FOS have agreed the figures (and also hate to say it but I do too or at least on his loan that he posted on here). I wonder what happens now if he still does not agree?

I'm not sure to be honest........

Anyways....it was the 4th Dec the ombudsman sent the letter and said if he hubby hears nothing by 4 weeks is to contact lloyds, of course nothing heard up to know, even though we have been writing etc to chase this up.

We did let the ombudsman know about this a few days back, even though the file have closed they are supposed to be contacting lloyds for an update and getting back to hubby on this.
    Still waiting to hear.

Did I tell you that we also received the letter from the FOS about a fortnight back?, the usual letter just to say sorry for the delay in regards of your complaint Via Hamilton, and they will be in touch to let us know when this is passed on to an adjudicator, or by 2 months....they usual letter.

The delay with the Insurer complaints is that as yet they DO NOT have jurisdiction over most of them and they are still having talks (as far as I am aware) with insurers/solictors etc. Not many have actually got through the system yet and that is why these are delayed. Even those waiting on fast track for misselling complaints with insurers will have to be patient. If the complaint is unfair rebate then these can be dealt with but again the usual wait at the FOS for most people. Mine took over 13 months for Lloyds of London.

How many complaints have you got then to be finalised?

Yeah if Lloyds do not uphold in our favour.

With the Credit Cards they did get back when they said, but this time on reclaiming the loans ppi, lloyds have gone over the timescale but said they are suppposed to be writing back shortly, I have already given them longer, won't give them much longer, will now wait another week then it will be off to the FOS again otherwise.;)

Hi everyone, hope you're all doing well and not having too much stress or ill-health in your lives at the moment.
Me, myself and I have the January blues and are not fit company for anyone. At least the days are starting to draw out and the white stuff has disappeared.
    Take care,
    Karen x
