It is quite tragic that this has happened it is so unfair and tragic. I went on holiday to CUBA about 4 years ago in guadalavaca which means feeding the cow

The locals were wonderful but had a nasty accident. It was all inclusive hodiday which included all the water sports. Went out on a catamaran and it tipped over about a mile out in the sea was terrifying did not think I would ever put feet on dry land again. Since then I will not go out in the sea. I loved the island and it was one beautiful holiday.
I would love to go there. In fact know so many who have been and each say the same. Lovely, lovely place. I might get there one day but for now I would be happy with a two hour flight to the sun.:D

Yes thank goodness, can't wait, then I can go and see my dad.;) They blocked the main route heading to where my dad stays and he has not been well today either, with his breathing difficulties.

    Yes it truly does Marshallka.
    Its devastating.
Both where my brother works and sister are doing collections, this will esculate. X

  • Good Morning all, hows everyone this am.

We have sleety snow but its not lying. Our local paper has many stories of people falling breaking things even one poor person had a blood clot on their brain after hitting their head after a fall. The accident and emergency dept must be rushed off their feet.

    Hi hun
    Hope your well.

Am hoping to see dad sometime today, the main roads I hear are more or less clearing now as well, and same here sleety rain......:T:T.

Its been almost 3 weeks now though that the bin men been to do the collections where we live, because they can't get up the hills, and I don't think they are able to take the risks either because of parked up cars.

Blimey yes I have heard lots of these awful stories....., very dangerous stuff isn't it?

Hope you get to see your Dad Di:j Take care on the roads though.
I had to go up a steep track the other day and there were walkers on it for some reason rather than them all standing on one side of the track half went one side and the others the other side. Bearing in mind this was like sheet ice on a slope I couldnt believe it (Victor Meldrew) I though if I start sliding I am going take some of these guys out. fortunately this didnt happen but I was incredibly anxious.

I'm having a grumpy woman day to day. We only have one petrol station which also has a Tesco Metro in it, why do people fill up their cars leave them on the forecourt then go shopping? There is no space to manoeuvre round, some pumps that dont have any fuel in them and people having a tra la time to themselves shopping, is it just me :mad::mad:

    Hi hun
    Thank you.;)

    Yes will do.

I would have walked to see dad, but the roads are lanes as well with no pedestrian pavements, the lanes are very narrow, so it would be taking a risk if walking.
Blimey that was scary......, my son almost had a similar experience the other day after he dropped off his mate........when coming downhill, luckily no other cars were on the road or even pedestrians for that matter.......

That sounds annoying........., how do they expect people to get in and out? XXX
