    My thoughts exactly.
Have you heard anymore about Haiti Marshallka?

Picking up from some of your other posts it seems you have had a lot to cope with and I'm sorry I didnt know you had a son, how is he doing? You are such a great source of knowledge I'm sure the circumstances you have found yourself in have had a great bearing on this.

Do you work? You would make a great advisor, mentor or counsellor.:A

Hi donotpassgo, I know we are all going through it here but it must be a million times worse in Haiti. The poor sods losing everything and worse than any possessions, loved one. My thoughts are with them.

Yeah, I have a 22 year old son. He as had a lot of !!!! in his young life but copes well now. He is out of work though and I hate although I do not work myself now (will have to do soon though) I think that for any man to be at home is worse than a woman being here. I think we cope better and men NEED to work. I want the best for him and the best is getting out there again and being with people and earning a living. I just pray he finds work soon. We have had a letter from the House of Commons today about my emails to the MP and I know that she cannot "find" him a job but I think that after 12 months on the dole he should be allowed to go some sort of interview scheme and work placement thing. He will end up with no motivation for life at all if this carries on.

12 months is horrific I cant imagine how he is coping with that. Having a job is not just about money its about purpose, relationships and self worth I will be praying for him too.:Axx

Thanks donotpassgo, It "is" about self worth etc. I know myself and although I am not working I am a worker if you know what I mean. Some people can actually cope with being unemployed and claiming benefits etc but I could not as I felt so low..... I worked when I was alone with him and it was damn hard but so glad I did. I think that when there is only one person around (I was alone for 6 years) then you have to play the role of both parents and working is part of life. I know that something has to be there for him soon. ;) I am one to talk though now, I don't work myself now:eek: but I know I will do again. ;) I have had some right jobs.....:rotfl::rotfl:. It all earns a crust though.:rotfl:
