    Hi Di

Should have gone to work really have not stopped here housework and presents. My daughter is no help whatsoever, has placed her rear end on the sofa since eight when she got up on my computer watching morning t.v. B:mad:loody college inset days. Have to keep getting her to move slightly as I would hate for her to get bed sores.:rotfl:

Be fab about MSN TBH there are only us three that are still about I think everyone else has moved on and away:confused:. Perhaps we could get a couple from on here that you talk to a lot and see if they will join. It is always good for a chat and laugh.

Morning Max so glad you didnt risk going to work I was thinking about you when I was listening to the bad weather reports on the radio.
How old is your lab? They are such great fun we have a black lab whos 8 now but still thinks hes a pupx

    Hi There donotpassgo.

I agree that it was really not worth risking the weather really the roads here are treachorous and the trains are not reliable.

My lab is called SATCHMO after Louis Armstrong he is a chocolate lab and he is now 6 months old so it is his first christmas. He is so beautiful and we all love him so much he gets spoilt rotten. Think it is empty nest syndrome really my two are 15 and 17 now so only need me as housekeeping and taxi services.

Have heard that labs are pups for the first three years, Oh joy.

  • Hello everyone.

I should come with a government hazard warning,
“Converse with this loony at your own risk”

Got myself into another wee predicament, :o:o I need to stay indoors and not be allowed to speak to anyone. Don’t think it’s a good sign that my auld dad even told the priest about my recent dilemma. I’m cringing with embarrassment just thinking about it. :o:o   I’ll update you when I get back.

    To Be Continued………………….. :confused::confused::confused:

Gerry puts her foot in it once again……
Was in the checkout queue, there was a wee man looking at special offers on bedding, he asked me if it was sheets in the packet I told him it was pillowcases the sheets were in the packets on the bottom shelf He asked me what colour he should get he had white in his hand, I said get the blue ones the white will get dirty easily. (he looked as though he needed a good wash) I told him he would need to buy 2 packets one sheets and the other pillowcases. He asked how much it would cost all in when I told him he put the packets down and walked away. Judging by his dirty clothes, I was thinking he might have been homeless. and he probably couldn’t afford them.:confused:

I felt really sorry for him, thinking the poor wee soul couldn’t afford to buy his sheets and it being The season of good will, I headed back in to shop to give him a couple of pound towards his sheets, I met him coming out and went to give him the money making a joke here’s money for your sheets your present from Mrs Santa Claus. :xmassmile:santa2:

The guy pulled out a bundle of notes from his pocket _pale_ _pale_ look he said I’ve got money here (it was at least £500), he had just finished working on a building site so that’s why he was so dirty and scruffy looking....

I had just insinuating that the guy looked like a neglected down and out.  I was so embarrassed...:o:o I couldn’t apologise enough, what a horrible way to insult someone.

He ended up laughing :rotfl: :rotfl: :rotfl: and said it was probably the nicest thing anyone had ever done for him. I was absolutely affronted I couldn’t get back to my car quick enough.:embarasse :(

    Lesson learnt

1/ you should never judge by appearances ......:naughty::naughty::naughty:

2/ Gerry is always saying the wrong thing and getting into trouble....

    A Mortified Wee Gerry :smileyhea
